  • excelent review sir

  • man nice blade

  • got mine today with the green scales! lovin the 154cm sweet blade! thanks for awsome reviews, it helps us out alot : ) - Tac

  • @cbr600rrturbo - Awesome, I'm sure you will put this to good use!

  • I like mine I got it from Pietermoore in a trade. I definitely enjoy this one. I wish the choil was a little deeper. It's a good value & tough to beat at this size of knife (doesn't have much competition. Or does it? r there other options similar besides the izula?) I'm thinking about getting an Izula to compare also

  • @NeptuneKnives - Bark River has some good knives that I am looking into, but yes they are more expensive than this one.

  • is that micarta linen or paper fabric?

  • @tensiga2 - They list it as Canvas Micarta.

  • C'mon Israel, go cut some wood and show us what that convex grind can do! Whereas a standard/flat/secondary bevel like the Izula can be mfg'd by CNC machines, eliminating labor and reducing cost, that convex grind is made with old-school craftsmanship by someone who cares about what he is doing - no robots. The price you paid is a tremendous bargain considering the skill, time and work it took to get that grind on that blade and make a better tool. Enjoy.

  • Ha it is true this edge is incredible. I also have the Model 7 from this same company and it has a similar beast of an edge, it can even cut thin magazine paper without me even holding the knife - I can hold it loose with 3 fingers and just let it drop via gravity and it will cut cleanly. Don't know if I'll do any wood cutting - very few other reviewers have even done a tabletop review of this knife, lol they gotta at least do that before I add extra stuff to mine.

  • Good looking blade, thats for showing it with the Izula II, good comparo. Cheers Israel.

  • it looks like the blackjack slices better too. did you buy the izula 2 with scales on it already? so which was cheaper fully outfitted i guess is what im wanting to know israel. you sound better. no cough. good. what doesnt kill us makes us stronger?

  • @PavlovSandor - The Izula II came with the scales, yes. the BlackJack plus the scales is a little more expensive, but yes it did slice better!

  • good vid! i dig how you're so chill and i may have to pick this one up.

  • @airodnov - Thank you, I think you'll like having one of these, they rock.

  • Were could i get that blade?

  • @outcastinblack - They have them at Knifeworks.

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives Thanks!

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives Thank you! :)

  • Great Review. Thank you.

    I have a question.

How do these knives compare to the Cold Steel Double Agent? They look similar, maybe a thicker stouter blade, but the Cold Steel is about half their price. And old retired guys like need to stsy within a budget.

Thanks again for your reviews, they are very useful

    Mike Di Feo

  • @mikedifeo - These knives are superior, overall, as tools, because of the steel and grinds. They're more for outdoor work or survival tasks, whereas the Double Agent is more meant as a self defense implement.

  • Looks great with the grips.

  • Luv that blade wuts your favorite neck knife?

  • Israel ,if you had to could you put your index finger though the whole & spin it. Keep up the good work. Aloha

  • I think I might actually prefer the blackjack more than the Izula. Nice review!

  • I agree the blackjack knife looks much better and seems like a better performer

  • Only downside is the top swedge makes it so you can't put your thumb up there to apply pressure when carving something.

  • @pietermoore - Yes, but it makes it more pointy, ya know, for all the pointy applications lol.

  • Great video. I really liked my blackjack necker.

  • you sound abit sick bro :/

  • @srgon12 - Yeah, I'm just getting over a cough. A lot of people I subscribe too have been sick too.

  • I really like the style of this blade over the Izula, I guess I'll put this in the "wish list."

  • +++++

  • Handsome blade. really like how they did the grind. Leaving that black ribbon towards top of blade. Looks sweet.

  • Has that convex edge not blown your mind. No drag hardly when cutting cardboard and stuff. You need a strop.

  • Hey Isreal, What do you think is a better judge of a knife's sharpness, cutting the paper fast or slow?

  • A slow cut is harder, so that's a better test. But a fast cut is closer to the real motion of a slash.

  • cool! im gonna have to get one

  • Now that is sweet fixed blade under 3.5 inch - respons tagged blade?

    He he.

Very nice camping/self defense blade right there.

I still love the ESEE Izula, lol!

Take care and thanks for a great video.

  • @rafterrs - Yes, this is my pick for that tag video, sorry I didn't give a shoutout, it was filmed earlier, but it's a great small fixed blade.

  • Dang.... it's Bad-ass!

  • HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, YEAH. You red my mind on this one brother. I wanted this but had not seen enought to buy.

  • @jmce3 - It's solid. This is the first knife I've had with a higher quality convex edge on it, it works as well as I have heard.

  • Would like to see the knife in hand with a pinkie finger inserted through the pinkie hole. I'm a big fan of any features that might increase retention in an altercation scenario. Do you know your hand size?

  • @bladeimm - My hands are medium size for a guy. I've heard of people using the hole like that during work tasks, not sure about for combat though.

  • wow that really looks good , either way would look good I kinda prefer with the scales..

  • in stead of black jack MORE LIKE JACK BLACK ......horrible actor :[

  • @BrushfireNAVY - Lol
