its defintley a lot easier to improv and go insane fast on the piano(or keyboard) as opposed to the guiatr jsut because of the way your hands are positiopned and using all ten ifinger isnt exactly hard or soemthing you need to learn wheras using your pinky finger on the guitar is

alexis tone isnt bad, he just uses the smae equipment he does to record in his live setup. he also doesn't use ALOT of gain, which you can hear. everyone thinks he has a high gain sound but its actually very mild gain wise. i liek it cause you cna hear EVERYTHING hes playing and he has very little overtones
