  • His Sun Records Stuff was great its a shame he was so over looked on Sun but he found success in the 60's up until his death so he had a great career also very underrated and way better than Elvis Presley he actually wrote most of his hits

  • Recently saw First Contact with a lot of other trekkers at a rented cinema, Zefram Cochrane and Roy Orbison rocks!!

  • Great song. Roy Orbison, brilliance. The film First Contact showed me this song though!

  • God gave rock n roll to you.

Roy Orbison was the mail man.

  • Just heard this on Star Trek First Contact.

In the words of Zephram Cochran "You guys are on some kinda Star Trek?"

  • @Diablo666Daemon666 live long n prosper you legend :)

  • Happy Zephram Cochran Day!!!!

  • no one should ever record this agian and all previous covers destroyed. this is roy's song. he did it perfect. you dont improve on a classic. enough said.

  • same could be said for many of these old tunes!!

The original is ALWAYS the best.

  • @Syzygy60 You`re not supposed to have been born yet Mr Cochrane ^.^

  • he spelled it wrong on purpose to bypass the censors

  • makes me want an oobie doobie

  • Great song from the Big O

  • I also hold a performance from Matt Lucas.Much rougher and with more balls than from Mr.Big O.

  • Propper Rock'n'Roll. What the.......can you possibly say, Hey.

  • awesome Roy forewer !

  • Great...:o)

  • Got an original Sun T-shirt. Love you mom! Thanks!

Fuck..love this song. Janis Martin covered this song too.... awesome version. Like CCR.

  • I agree with bradyhastings.Everyone of the guys from sun records where real!

  • Rock On Roy Orbison!

When talking about the origins of Rock and Roll everyone always mentions Chuck Berry, Elvis, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, and so on who were for certain great also, but all too many times they forget to mention the Ooby Dooby man himself .... Roy Orbison! I remember back in the mid-fifties playing this '45' so much we wore it our! This was one of the first really jamming guitar lead songs ever! And one of the best of all times!

    Rock On Forever Roy Orbison!

  • @bradyhastings I believe its his later successes that over shadow his older stuff. I agree with you Roy was one of the best Rockabilly artists of all time and gets very little credit.

  • @bradyhastings you oughtta keep on searchin utube, kat. "lynchburg sour mash" i believe is the rockin daddio's screen name, he got the song on 78! soo kool its frozen, like my manitoba winter!

  • Puuure Rockabilly !!
