@BottleBoot remember dude this is MY opinion. i didnt like the recent ones like black white, soulsilver heartgold, platinum, diamond, pearl, and ruby,sapphire because all the pokemon looked sorta dumb especially the starters in black and white and i dont get why they technically remade red and blue. Remember this is my opinion, I just only liked red, blue, gold, and silver.

The gold-plated Pokemon were from Burger King, BTW. :) I have all of those, as well as the compasses they gave out at Wendy's and little plushie toys from McDonalds. And the Pokemon Mighty Beans (remember those?) are in my closet.

It doesn't matter what age you are. Anyone has the right to love this beloved franchise. The reason we all love it so much is because we grew up with playing Pokemon games, cards, toys, etc.

We share a special bond with this beloved franchise. So if someone makes fun of it, it gives us a big tackle in our hearts. But the good thing is that we are powerfull enough to keep that special, spiritual bond between us and Pokemon. :)

ive played all of them as well, but even though gold will always be my favourite, i really like diamond and pearl.

the more pokemon the better, and now we can battle and trade with anyone in the world. the special and physical attack system makes more sense. all in all these versions have imporved on an already great formula.
