CTV has been showing promos saying how they broadcast the Calgary 1988 games, complete with the old striped CTV logo.

What was the big event? I remember that CTV aired the Winter Olympics that year.

I don't know what the big event was, but I absolutely remember CTV airing the 1994 Winter Olympics from Lillehammer, Norway.
