Since you are clearly uneducated, and I am knowledgeable about the law, I'll tell you that a home owner has a legal obligation to maintain their yard to a reasonable and safe condition. As a homeowner you have an easement with your electric company for a meter reader to come onto the property, or USPS to have a package delivered to doorstep. If either fall and get hurt because of negligence by you to maintain your yard to a reasonable condition, they CAN SUE YOU AND WIN!

thats because ups sucks. I shipped a box with them one time. when I was there there was another person complaining about are large painting that appears to have had a fork lift driving through it. And my package went on a slide into the other room but I could still see it hit the floor on the other side...

they don't care... ship usps... its faster, and never have any trouble with lost or broken shit.

same thing just happened to me today. i baught a pair of contacts that make my eyes white and ups came today at 9:36 AM. i heard a LOUD bang on the door. i looked and there are my contacts near the welcome mat..... dented box, 1 broken seal to one of the vials, and a dent on my front door. wow, thank you ups.

Give all the excuses you guys want, there is no real reason for throwing a damn package. Your job is to deliver the package safely, without any damage from your HQ to the point of destination. It's no wonder why people hate UPS so much.

i think this is my driver (i'm a seasonal ups driver helper) and he was telling me today that he is on youtube because of a house that had dog shit everywhere in little baggies on the ground and when he got to the door there is a wagon(you can see it) that is full of bags of dog shit..

i am a driver myself, 24 yrs old, and the only packages i toss over is places i cant reach , due to closed door or fence, knowing first that package wont break or if its not fragile. its common sense, but this driver didnt even called out "UPS" nro he tried to reach the door. lazy bum

The reason he threw he package was because there is so much bush and trash on the walkway to the door. Notice how he has to duck under the brush, brush aside cobwebs, and measure his steps as he walks up the path. He probably could not walk up the driveway because all the mess. This must be one of those pack rat residence that keep their homes like trash. Look at the driveway and near the front door- trashy. I too would have thrown it to stay away from the smell.

I'm telling you-even if you do every thing right , it's not good enough for management. Now on top of spying on us all day, they are going to throw a baby doll under the wheel to see if you run it over. Gets worse every day. I don't condone mishandling anyone's package but when management puts more work on your truck and orders you to get it done in half the time, it really grates on you. 10 and a half hr days are pretty brutal.

I believe you because that TOTALLY sounds like something DHL would do. DHL folks are HORRIBLE!! At least UPS will ring my doorbell as a warning that my package is dumped outside.
