Seriously, I've never seen a company with more ridiculous product demonstration videos... It's as though they found out knives are sharp for the first time and are having a ball. It's not that their products are bad---- they just aren't superior to other knife companies as they would like you to believe.

The higher end knives from all the companies are outstanding, but Cold Steel would like you to think their products are made from magical super-steel that no other manufacturers have.

dude thaT last part wasnt neccasary.... what ever... i do buy quality knives.... i have the large voyager and its whole shape of the handle is very different then the largere ones anyone else notice that... i know since its larger its handle will be different but if it is the same knife but different size wouldnt the ratio in size stay the same and the handle shape.

And unless your attacker is wearing a bullet proof vest, it is good as a tactical knife. If you want to cut metal, a hacksaw or a file is a better tool. moron

Boots, rope, metal drums, cardboard people, car hoods, wood, string, webbing, utility belts and meat- the coldsteel range of folding knives will have no problem cutting through these things....

as for paper? NO CHANCE, coldsteel dont do miracles.

The first thing i cut with my X2 was my thumb.

I was used to crappy $12 knives, and it sheared right through my t-shirt when i wiped it.

One of my sharpest knives even now, when i have like 35 widely varying knives.
