Right now were building the frame, body (aluminum), seats (aluminum), and front racing windshield (glass) all to original specs. My guys worked on numerous total 550 rebuilds and are experts in aluminum fabrication. Too many years experience. Even the thickness of the aluminum and the underside of the car is correct.
Yeah I am planing to buy a replica next year. The replicas are setup a little better then the original. No sorry alot better. I do got to wonder if I can keep up with a exige with one
Depends on what you want. I want a balls out monster with a 911 motor and race suspension. I will probably end up spending 70k on it. You can get something slower that is still faster then the original for 20-40K.
