Spotlight WAS the first desktop search application that works like that, before you could search but it wasn't instant or widely accessible. Double clicking or single clicking is an extremely minor detail that nobody at all gives a damn about, but the fact of the matter is you have the option of doing either in both OSes. And the OS X Dock was out BEFORE quick launch so you only proved the point lol.

Isnt OS X.whatever based on the Free BSD and Darwin Unix cores? How does that make apple original? Its not like they wrote an OS from the ground up. They took Free BSD and slapped Aqua on top to make it look original. The Dock and the Widgets are straight from UNIX by the way. Thats really funny. Macs all the way! I have an eight year old mac that I do video editing on and it has never crashed. I ran OS9 and OSX on it. not once. EVER! At the end of the day, its nobody's fault but the current administration from not splitting up Microsoft's unethical monopoly to give an even chance to smaller companies to further competition and raise the level of standards for consumers.
I get a little sense of relief when I think about Bill Gates suffering from stock market plunges and looking despretley to copy an operating system undeniably more advanced to clear the red.
