Well the movie had a hell of a message of how my parents generation sells out and looses everything in america and the kids have to buy it all back. So in the movie we see how the end justifies the means and get a small taste of what were probaly in for in this country soon. Minus the benevolent rollerboys-nobody will take on a challenge like they do wearing rollerblades and sporting a mullet buying everything of value.

This movie is so unbelievably prophetic. It actually would have a chance for success now, rather than 1991, if it were remade with better production, better script, bigger budget, & the omission of the asinine rollerblading. People are now waking up, though too late, to all of the American economic chaos/corruption, & this movie portrayed it all. A bad b movie, but more relevant than 99.9% of movies made today. I always thought the Rollerboys were the heroes, & I still do. Griffin was a pussy.
