I installed Stalker clear sky but when i start it it says i must be administrator to use the program and the same happens if I right click the icon and click on the administrator option. Anyone got any idea what to do. I also tried reinstal it twice but nothing changed. Please help me and fast. Thanks in advance stalkers :D

Does anyone know what the -noprefetch command is to increase load times do? I can't find anything or having a hard time finding anything about what it is before I do it? I have more than a adequate system run Clear Sky. Load times are like 5 mins. long, and loads stuff like "Server" like it is starting a mp game and a single player game.

I saw this game in Walmart like a week ago. I downloaded Shadows of Chernobyl to test it out and now im obbsessed with this game and everything involving it. I even watched a documentary on the actuall Chernobyl event. This game has such a erie feel to it that you get sucked in. Im gonna go but both games as soon as I get time. This is a masterpiece.

Personally, I think Fallout 3 Is a little better (Played the leak) because you can make your own person. Knowing you made the person your playing as gives immersion and you actually care about the person. This game is still awesome though.

this is a cross between a shooter and an rpg.

i HATE rpg's, but i loved stalker. this game has a fair amount of bugs, but is still very good.

if you enjoy shooters, i would seriously recommend stalker shadow of chernobyl. just dont expect it to be the same as call of duty.

it doesnt have levelling, and stats, the same as an rpg, but you do have some secondary missions you can do.

i do admit, the first part of this game is a bit boring, but when it gets going, its great

Stalker MAKES you experience a world which is not even that far from reality. And reality can be quiet boring... but at the same time.. the experience is so different then other *standard shooters* you have played before. Depends. I'd play Shadow of Chernobs first and then Clear sky. Presumably the gameplay will HOPEFULLY be more simple and easier to handle in the critical spots. So learning the more annoying gameplay first should serve the second. Storywise, forget it: dig the atmosphere and the world. The story is forgettable at best. I guess that one of the endings of Clear-Sky will be the beginning of Shadow-of-C.
