again, where do you guys find this stuff? but regardless, THANK YOU! those were the happiest of years, too bad C treatment didn't advance as much as animation technology did!
marvel always stayed true to their vision of the characters they created..even now, they limit the foolishness that Hollywood wants to inject into their heroes storylines...HOORAY MARVEL!
There was one episode of this that kind of bothered me, the one where there is a mechanical bird that somehow gets stuck in the coils that shrink them...
The voice over was always a part of the original series run. Then CN showed the series , eventually dropping it. The CN run was shown without the voiceover (by running the closing theme over the opening video). The series moved to Boomerang for a while. Currently available youtube videos show pretty much every version from oldest to newest. Most have speeded up the playback to save time.
I don'r remember the voice-over at all from the original run, and I have some hulking reel-to-reels from broadcasts to prove it. lol. But it must've been added somewhere for syndie or Boomerange purposes, or in early episodes. Theme song was exciting, though!
The voiceover was out of place. The opening works a lot better without it. Galactus is the wrong color, but it's great seeing the Silver Surfer here. Dr. Doom as a giant came from Fantastic Four#16.
What happened to the voice-over? "Reed Richards, with his power to stretch...the Thing, with the strength of a thousand men...Johnny-blaze on, Torch...and Sue, the Invisible Girl..." The Fantastic Four...united in their fight against interplanetary evil...FANTASTIC!"
@alandhopewell , this show is from the 1960's....this is the original FF cartoon. It didn't have Voice-over only the music in the intro. you might be thinking of the 1990's FF cartoon.
@Astraldragon1 The 1960's version did have a voiceover in the intro. I remember it from when I was a kid. BTW, most of the episodes were based on the comic book stories.

The face of Mr. Fantastic on the opening looks like a square, if you look carefully. And the Thing looks very drunk

In the part when the bad guys "try" to hit the Thing, well they're kinda dumb cause they hit on the same freaking place. ALWAYS

Nope...the 90's version had an actual song...
"Reed Richards is elastic
Sue can fade from sight
Johnny is the Human Torch
The Thing just loves to fight
Call for four...Fantastic Four". I recall the old 1967 FF cartoon very well; I was eleven when it aired, and watched it faithfully.
