  • oooooh, this was my FAVORITE show!

  • Schwartz also played in the memorable All in the Family episode as a jewish TV repairman

  • OMG I havnt seen this or thought about it since 1975? 76?

  • If they remade this show today, i think Isis would be darker skinned. Why wasn't it that way in the first place?

  • by online, I mean for say $1.99 we could watch it online.

thankfully I was smart enough to buy the Isis DVD a few years ago. how long before they pull this and every show that some of us enjoyed as children?

  • now when will they release Shazam! At least offer them online for maybe a small fee so those of us who loved the show can watch it. I have maybe a half dozen that I recorded off of tvland but thats it.

  • At some point, Bigfoot basically showed up in every show back then.

  • @lilSnubby Yeah, the Bigfoot back in the 70s was like Justin Beiber today.

  • "ISIS" was a great success for Filmation Associates,,as well as being a higher example of the

studio's success for live action shows in the 1970s,since Sat Mornings were usually dominated

by cartoons(most of them Filmation produced)but, in the case of ISIS,it was also sexapeal in a

very low key way, since star JoAnna Cameron had those great looks. i can't really say too much about the acting, since it seemed too stiff,,but the series succeeded, reguardless of what

is said. CBS sure had fine Sats!

  • @MONGOOSE1ful

and didnt they also do Ghostbusters and the monster squad?

  • wow they don't make em like this anymore, classy bass.

  • Blast from the past. Thanks.

  • the only world where isis is a white lady. lol. that being said i used to LOVE LOVE LOVE this as a kid!!!

  • WOW!! Isis & Da Bag!!! Along with Swartz & Alderman Fred C. Davis.... Good Times y'all.

  • My mom made me look this up… She almost had a heart attack… XD

  • Brian Cutler was an occasional extra on "Emergency".. Thought I remembered him from somewhere.

  • Yeah Joanna was a 70's "baby doll" in those days.

  • "TOO MANY PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING AND THINK IT'S DANGEROUS"....

  • THE MUSC IN THIS....

  • The actress, who played Isis, was gorgeous back in the day. If you were simply looking at physical beauty, this woman could possibly held her own, if not surpass, many of the actresses of that day. In fact, you put that same woman out there today, I think that she surpass some of the women that we think are so hot.

  • WOW THAT KID "THAT SAW BIGFOOT" HASNT CHANGED SINCE PORKYS! LOL

  • WOW...just the whole first few seconds into scene and.... wow... the old days.... lol...

  • @jackson3rdhotmail I totally agree with you. Just the first few notes tells you this is going to be something special. Then you see Isis and the feeling is complete.

  • OMG! It's Herman Cain!!!

  • Memories !

  • Back in the 70's everybody battled bigfoot. He was everyplace back then, most famously the 6 million dollar man and the bionic woman!

  • I wonder what that squirrel is doing now?

  • @ate100lbgorilla tree fertilizer...

  • at :38, rick mason is played by brian cutler, my acting teacher a few yrs ago. holy shit! he said he was on this show. looked a little younger than!

  • Wait, Cindy and this guy are all alone and Cindy says she saw something big and hairy?

  • WONDER WOMAN AND ISIS KINDA REMIND ME OF MY 2ND GRADE TEACHER ,I USED TO PLAY DUMB IN CLASS JUST SO SHE COULD LEAN OVER ON ME WITH THOSE BIG BREAST AND LIKE 10 BRACELETS ON HER ARM ,AND GOOD SMELLIN PERFUME,IT WAS CONFIRMED AT THAT AGE THAT I WAS READY TO HAVE SEX WITH A WOMAN 7

  • everytime i see somethin from the 70s and 80s ,i literally feel like cryin a lil bit but i try to hold it bak, best days of my life as a kid

  • My Saturdays were so cool and now so complicated!

  • My big sister and I used to watch this and Shazam on Saturday mornings. I used to call her Isis 'cos her name is Iris, and I was Shazam. Thanx for the post. Got to find this and Shazam on DVD. It it isn't out, it bloody well out to be!

  • fun times and great memories:)

  • bought this show on dvd...ahhhh memories

  • SIE-ASS-QUATCH

  • @5:50 it is "Bag" from the Happy Days TV series.

  • Lee (with the camera) later went on to be Schwartz in one of the Porky's movies. He used jujitsu to kick the shit out of the dude who called him a "kite".

  • Aww damn. Alderman Fred G Davis from Good Times at 4:52

As for Isis . . Joanna was FINE, but would it kill a TV show creator to be historically accurate, and actually cast an EGYPTIAN/AFRICAN actress in that role? Had Dianne Carroll played Wonder Woman, people would've had a fit.

  • @finisher3x So a woman being a flying superhero is historically accurate? It was just a TV program. Seek help for your problems.

  • i remember this show i thought it was pretty cool thanks for posting and bringing back memories

  • Isis is Annette Haven

  • Joanna Cameron was my first crush

  • Because bears don't go in woods near towns.

  • Isis needs to get on the pole!!!

  • i used to pretend i'm isis and i'm a dude what the hell

  • ..."soar as the Falcon soar..." About 32 years after I first saw this show, I have indeed "soared like a Falcon"...in my Falcon 195 hang glider!!!

  • Attila709 i do agree to that this younger generation dose,nt understand this at all, i was born in 1957, i grew up the 70, and 80s, they just don,t relate to this,T.V meant something back then isis, captain marbe , wonder woman, super man, and the increable hulk and the six million dollar man.

  • It just ended up being a big dumb hillbilly and not a sasquatch.

  • Rick Mason could have given John Holmes a run for his money with that 'stache.

  • The t.v. shows, Isis & Shazam were Stupid! Lame! & Gay!

  • Andrea's glasses is back on trend...

  • "Lee" = Schwartz from Porky's

  • What says 'The '70's" more than the Isis 'Bigfoot' episode??!!

  • I think Andrea needs bigger glasses....I don't know but... :D

  • His voice reminds me of Christopher Guests characters voice in "the Folksmen" in the movie "A Mighty Wind"! ha ha - If you like funny look it up!

  • Hey!!! What's that Progressive Insurance guy doin on ISIS? While he's singing, Isis is thinking, how can I off this guy, and make it look like an accident :)

  • Command me, oh mighty Isis!

  • I'm glad Dr. Barnes was there to talk sense into those dope smoking honkies.

  • That was a bad outfit she wore.

  • At 3:58 till around 4:50,those are the same woods where The Andy Griffith Show and The Six Million Dollar Man were filmed, located in the Franklin Canyon Reservoir north of L.A..

  • i kept thinkin she would look better if she dint have on pantyhose :(

  • OMG, I remember this show when I was little.

  • Cartoons back in our day, had a message, good triumphs over evil.........now it's all crass and irreverant..........so sad.

  • @MrGermanyjon yep!

  • @MrGermanyjon It isn't all crass and irreverent… And this isn't a cartoon.

  • @MrGermanyjon You're absolutely right. Now we have shows like "South Park" that only want to convince us that it's okay to call each other "gay" or "faggot" as long as they claim they "didn't mean it THAT way." Idiots. We could use a lot more shows like "Isis" today.

  • I remember this episode. It's been so many years, but "bigfoot" turns out to be a very tall, bearded guy, about 7ft. named Richard. He's a reclusive mountain man that stays away from people because of their reaction to his appearance. Actually gentle and laid back. The guy that plays him has appeared in other tv shows and movies.

  • @ACLTony thanx for givn it away

  • @station4hiphop - Hey, Station. Sorry about that as I assumed that since this was from way back in the day that most viewers would have probably looked at the other vid clips or online to see how this story ends. My bad.

  • @ACLTony Spoiler alert!

  • How many people take the time to have a lazy afternoon picnic? I miss going on picnics with my family. Maybe this summer, I'll be able to make the time.

Bigfoot was a popular plot during the 70's. Six Million Dollar Man, Bigfoot and Wildboy, Isis.

And actually Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter) and The Shazam/Isis Hour were both on during the mid-70's. Both started in 1975. Except Wonder Woman was on Friday nights and Isis was Sat morning.

  • This was before Lynda Carter drove us pre-teen boys crazy as Wonder Woman. Joanna Cameron was cool too. Boom Boom Boom!

  • The kid in the white shirt, played Bag, on the first two seasons of "Happy Days". Couldn't stand Bag, because he was the leader of "The Demons" and a thorn in Richie's side. ('Crusin', my least favorite "Happy Days" episode).

  • Erica Durance played a great ISIS in SMALLVILLE. But, JoAnna Cameron was the forerunner, so kudos to her. But, Erica's outfit was similar to JoAnna's.

  • "ISIS" was a superior example of Filmation's success on the Networks back in

the 1970s. this 1975 CBS series was quite popular then,,considering the sexappeal

of its star, JoAnna Cameron. but of course, while the series had serious intentions,

the acting was a bit stiff, and restrained. Filmation back then, was serious about

controling any violent content,.after the complaints of Sat.Morning shows from the

late 60s,and the outcry over the violence-so people like Dr Gordon Berry were

    consulted.

  • Joanna Cameron was gorgeous. Wow those Saturday mornings were cool.

  • The actress who played Isis was around 24/25. That was considered very mature back then.

  • I wish Bluto from Animal House had been walking through the park while Goober was playing and um....singing?

  • God I remember watching this as a kid ... wow ... what a head trip! Love it ... thanks for posting ... Man From Atlantis is next on the tour down memory lane.

  • ITS BALDERMAN DAVIS from GOOD TIMES! (and you too Wilona!)LOL!

  • People born after the 70s will never understand these shows and how great they were. It's pointless to even try.

  • @Attila709 You know...unless they get released on DVD and we children of the 80's and the 90's and the 00's can watch them and enjoy them even now. But what are the odds of that happening. :p

  • @NateSean You haven't done much research, have you. The dvd for Isis has been out for the last three years.

  • @Attila709 Do see that. Do you see that large Pluto-Is-Still-A-Planet sized object that just flew right over your head? That my dear boy was the point. But let me explain it to you since my rocket propelled intellect has clearly escaped the pot induced haze of your seventies nostalgia.

You were attempting to imply that people born after the 70's wouldn't understand how great the show is. But as the DVD presents the show to us, we are now able to watch and appreciate said 70's show.

  • @NateSean Gee, you are smart. But unfortunately your intelligence is geared toward being an asshole. Oh well, better luck in the next life.

  • @Attila709 and how great was the disco music-I'm glad I came from this era

  • @Attila709 thats because they were absolutely bullshit

  • @Attila709 Amen!

  • @Attila709 I understand :(

  • @Attila709 You're right. Very few of us actually know how terrible our shows are! It's sickening. I absolutely love these classics. While everyone else is watching tv I'm watching these and real entertainment. Something people can actually learn a lesson from.

  • @Attila709 I dotn agree totally. if you show these 70's shows to little kids their minds havent been inundated with spoonge bob or MTV yet. They would come to love these shows. i waws watching gunsmoke, bonanza, forbidden planet before I saw star wars or CHIPS.

  • @Attila709 you got that right, even if they saw it on here ,they wouldnt take it seriously ,the kids today have no imagination or sense of fantasy, stupid

  • @Attila709 Agreed.

  • @Attila709 true!

  • "Let's face it Andrea, you're not ISIS" Gotta love how she broke "Fourth wall" & winked @ the camera.

  • Alderman Fred Davis from Good Times playing the principal.....wow he made a little money in the 70's.

  • My sister loved this show and like Shazam. There were episodes that had both Shazam and Isis. That is the Shazam Isis Hour, correct?

  • Yes! That is correct.

  • Another thing, the actor playing Lee, Scott Colomby, besides being her boyfriend in One Day at a Time, was also Valerie Bertanelli's real life beau for a few years. Before she hooked up with Eddie Van Halen.

  • I think that's the first time I saw her look straight at the camera 4:48. lol!

  • Interesting seeing all these actors who played occasional characters on 70's sitcoms. The actor playing Lee was Barbara's boyfriend, Cliff on One Day at a Time. The chunky guy was Richie and Potsie's friend, Bag, on Happy Days. The actor playing the principle had a recurring role as a greedy, evil politician/councilman on Good Times.

  • Comment removed

  • @trppey66 Yeah and that one kid was in "Caddyshack"! He was Rodney's caddie - the tough kid from Brooklyn. Good call on "Bag" from "Happy Days". Never would've gotten that one...

  • @trppey66 Good call on Bag from Happy Days. The one kid later starred in Caddyshack as the caddy from Brooklyn who plays for the caddie tournament win.

  • who is the narrator? It sounds like Ted Knight

  • @lavvy2585 It's not. But the kid from Caddyshack is there.

  • @randutube08 do you happen to know who the narrator was? His voice is in shazam also and who is the kid from caddyshack? I don't remember that movie much.

  • thnaksd, I loved this show, can't wait for the next part

  • The description is not very valid, since no one actually sees, hears, or meets Bigfoot.

So where is the REST of the episode for those of us who want to actually SEE

the big fellow? So please post the rest of this encounter sometime soon.
