I would have sworn I read an interview somewhere that it wasn't Joe Perry playing the solo. I don't remember who, but it was a hired gun that was hanging around the studio on some down time, and the producer or engineer let him play over the track to kill some time, and this was what happened. Perry has a very sporadic style, but this is a bit too wild and spitting/sputtering to be Perry I think. But I could be wrong. (I doubt it though :P)
