The way I look at it, while we have an army that tries to settle things with guns and just causes a complete uproar, we also have Banksy and other activists who get their message across with a can of paint. No one will understand an artist, unless they are an artist.

If Banksy wants to put his work on government property (which is stolen property to begin with) then that's fine, but to do it on private people's hard earned property without their permission is wrong, pure and simple. I can't imagine how many hours it must have taken to get this paint job done so perfectly on the elephant. I have a friend who is a makeup artist and it takes her anywhere from 7-10 hours to do a body painting on a human being. I don't know. I wish someone would just explain the details on the make up job on the elephant to put me at ease! :)
