  • abajo zelaya, chavestia.y toda esa bola de imbeciles que los siguen,

  • I am sorry from the bottom of my heart that my fellow americans are asleep due to mainstream media corruption and the evils of my government and cia i will pray for you all we are all humans Fight the evil RESIST the NEW WORLD ORDER )o

  • I knew this was a cia endorsed coup and i feel all those local gov being taken over is a cia coup in mexico made in america to look like a drug war but is really a push to put in place governments that will sign onto the north american union they are pushing fuck the NWO you wont take AMERICA we will resist )o I smell sulpher in the air , WAR! is on the horizon )o

  • I wasn't there and didn't do it . . . . this time.

  • honduras did every thing legally. they showed that they do not want socialism, a failed oppressive system

  • Honduras will defend democracy and freedom at any cost. That was the message to Hillary Clinton and the rest from countries against the majority of public opinion have persisted in calling a coup by constitutional mandate the dismissal of Zelaya.

  • ..Yeah The Real308 a supreme court formed by the oligarchy of the Hondurean rich elite-european descendents of Spain and Italy.. like the new bozzo that was put in place by the CIA.. Michiletti..The majority of Hondureans who voted for Zelaya are of indigenous origine and the struggling poor, millions of them! And your mentality is not going to stop us! We need Socialism and thats it !! And right now Hugo Chavez should be asking the Chinese or Russins to open up 7 military bases in his country!

  • "CHE GUEVARA!"

It's so cool he got his brains blown out! :D I guess what goes around comes around after a while. He tortures and kills for Castro and then he himself gets summarily executed.

  • ....Furthermore why are you rooting for this "Imperialist White Power" for? are you an Anglo-racist white? with a coloial mentatily in 2009?...if you are? then wake up! because we Latin people in the Americas are not going to be bullied on by your dispicable Ideology of fitlh! all Latin peoples are better off with socailism and our freedom fighting brothers Hugo Chavez, Evo Morales, Rafael Correra are working hard to put a stop to 500 years of Racist Imperialism! Long live CHE GUEVARA!

  • Sorry we are not letting socialist scum steal our property. If the people vote for this then the people need to be overthrown as they are violating the rights of others.

  • titusho2 , what a pitiful moron you are!

  • Why the hell does the media keep calling this a coup? It was not a coup, it was an arrest ordered by the supreme court. No different to the US supreme court issuing an arrest warrant for Obama because he has broken Constitutional law as ruled by that court. The police, FBI or whoever the court gave the arrest warrant to wouldn't be staging a coup, the would be following a lawful order. The President of Honduras did exactly that, and the he was arrested as he should of been.

  • I'd like to reply to you "TheReal308"...Mr. Buch manipulated the U.S. constitution and was untouch by anybody with minimal decency in this disgusting version of "Turbo-capitalistic democracy" and now everybody is being victimised by its demise!..YES THAT IS A BIG time MILITARY COUP FROM OBAMA & CIA WITH ALL ITS MARKINGS! If a const'tution is not working for millions of poor people then its got to go no matter what! Zelaya was voted by the majority! And is the president elect!...................

  • I wonder when 0bama will call for "restraint and calm" on account of the democratic elections in Iran?

Oh, I forgot, that wasn't his instructions for the day.

I also wonder if the daily instructions are injected in 0bama's arm, or if he gets them the old-fashioned low-tech way?

  • Yes, Obama is an idiot and a puppet -all high profile politicians are. Now tell me something I don't already know.

  • Russia and Mr Putin: Please help us from American imperialism. We have always needed your help.

  • Comment removed

  • Glad that you admit that the Washington military-industrial dictatorship has an arm in every honey jar.

So much the motivation to chop off every one of your US tentacles globally. With a rusty machete. Chuckle!

    Viva Chavez! Viva Ahmadinejad!

  • Yeah well the "Washington military-industrial dictatorship" has a right to protect our property rights and thereby the well-being of our citizens. You have some kind of problem with that?

Those "tentacles" are merely defending their rights. If you look at nearly every CIA backed coups that is the motivation.

  • This isn't a military coup it's a legal government action ordered by the Honduran congress and supream court. This guy is so biased

  • americans are once again on the side of fascist coup mongers, supporting the Honduran oligarchy agains the will of the mass of people, who voted for Zelaya. Zelaya was the legitimate president. the people should be allowed to reform a constitution that was forced on them during the Reagan terrorist war against their country.

  • The Congress represents the people in the Republic and the business of altering the Constitution is with them and them alone, not one man like Zelaya! Zeliar's vote was unconstitutional and ZeLiar's actions where extra constitutional! Mad Respekt to all my Homeys in the Honduran Army! Death to dictators!

    Long Live Bonita Bananas!

  • Correction, stamping out terrorists is not the same as having a terrorist war. It is more like having a war on terrorists. Reagan stamped out communist terrorists in Latin America, and he did a good job of it. They still haven't fully returned.

  • Oh and BTW probably due to Zelaya's repeated attempts at powergrabs most Hondurans support the "coup." (It wasn't a coup. It was legal.)

Only 28% of Hondurans want Zelaya to return. So much for hiding behind the "democracy" mask.

  • fuck you micheletti coups are ilegal we want back our real president Zelaya!!!!!!

  • Fuck you, idiot! Do you want another venezuela? another cuba? Get some history in your brain first and then make a statement...dumbass.

EITHER WAY, what the Honduran Supreme court did was NOT illegal. It followed the constitution to the T.

  • Stupid fat yanks. It never fails to amaze me how narrow minded and how manipulated americans are by their own media. When it comes to Latin America your opinion is insignificant, because your facts are skewed by your corporate media.

  • so it is constitutional to kidnap and overthrow a democratically elected president along with many members of his cabinet and advisers?and assassinate a popular left wing future presidential candidate? wow...sounds like the Honduras constitution is a piece of shit

  • Sorry the Supreme Court ruled that Zelaya's arrest was legal under Article 239 of the Honduran Constitution.

  • To all you people shouting "communism" as soon as poor countries wants their freedom, know that if wanting peace, democracy and liberty means being a communist, then I am a communist.

And if imposing your will by force and shooting your own people means you are communist, then YOU are!

  • Problem one is already solved as a boy is dead and the world is condemning the usurper.

Problem two is more tricky as Obama has to choose between democracy or democrazy.

The former means loosing Honduras to Chavez, and upsetting powerful people back home.

The latter means US becoming anti-democratic and Obama loosing his face internationally-wise.

    Yes we can!

  • Two different set of problems here:

    1. President Zelaya wanted a referendum, read constitutional amendment, which must be ok in a democracy, as it means the people votes if they want it or not. The rich elite will not let go off power that easy and uses brutallity remain in control.

    2. The rich elite is undermined by sections of the US (Iwill not say President Obama, all respects to him and the american people), and Zelaya is more than accompanied by President Chavez.

  • DOWN WITH OBAMA!

  • @GRADUALGOSSIP Yeah! That will convince everyone! Yeah "down with Obama!" how about elaborating?

  • ohhh!!! This video is from Russia. Can we expect them to be objective? or siding with Zelaya = Hugo Chavez = Comunism.

This may be just propaganda. Music to the ears of those who want to believe this was a "coup".

Pushing for Obama punishment to the small democracy? Comies...

  • this video was of the first day of the coup. calm down. investigate things before you jump to conclusions

  • hi , i'm honduran too and i have to say that most honduran didnt like this president , we were terrified just to think he would stay in office for ever just like hugo chavez, he just had to go , he broke the law , he is a criminal , and if he returns to honduras he should be arrested . nobody is above the law , not even a president .

  • you know whats funny enlish is not Honduras native language but all these folk, that continue to post on the internet like u in honduras that can afford it are obviously right wing people who can afford it. You fool no one

  • Type "Honduras" in the search bar and sort by "Newest" you dip-shit and you will see that the first four pages of video are all in Spanish.

  • that's funny watching the video here..where he has all of those supporters walking with him in the streets and protesting in front of a military occupied base surrounded by tanks....looks to me quite the opposite of what you're saying,,,it appears that the Honduras people are mad about the militarist action

  • filthy CIA at WORK AGAIIIIIN....

  • Idiot, the CIA is doing it's job. If we didn't have Reagan using them to overthrow communist regimes in Latin America in the 80's, Clinton would not have been able to sign NAFTA in the 90's. If we didn't have that we would not have had the economic prosperity of the 90's, and until much recently.

After NAFTA was signed I remember the economy going up and getting extra X-mas presents the following year. Thank you, CIA!

  • woooow....very brilliant analysis!!!...sir... thousands of latin america people got suffered under their military dictatorship (backed by your kind hearted CIA of course)

  • It's unfortunate that some of these went the way they did. That said it was infinitely better to them going communist (totalitarian). If that happens we wouldn't have gotten NAFTA and those extra X-mas presents, and those Latin American people would have suffered even worse under totalitarian communist states.

It's the Kirkpatrick Doctrine. Whenever you have to choose between authoritarian and totalitarian pick authoritarian. Reality justifies this as Castro was far worse than Pinochet.

  • well as far as we know now the latin america color trend is RED (but it's not communism) so like domino theory the last domino will be drop in front of yankeenistan door step..this is sir not tolerable...so yankeenistan unleashed their master of chaos CIA to stop with all cost the spreading of REDDISH latin america... this is a simple common sense of yankeenistan behaviour (read from history though) they're failed in IRAN,mediocore succeed in iraq and still busy chasing around talibs

  • Well duh. Of course this isn't tolerable. We don't want commies crawling up on our back doorstep. Who would?

And yes I know this is historical yankeestan behavior. It was something called the cold war. The communists kept agitating in other countries, and taking them over, and we kept taking them back. Being the world's only other superpower at the time it was our global responsibility to defend the world against communism.

  • Americans on the whole are as stupid about the coup in Honduras and why Zelaya is being maliciously dissed as everything from a dictator to a drug dealer to a Stalinist, as they are dumb about how Obama represents the same class of financial & criminal elites who backed Clinton & Bush. Beyond the Bullshit & disinfo, Zelaya did more to aid his nation than anyone else in over 40 years. He passed a 60% minimum wage increase, signed an oil deal w/Venezuala, increased public service spending, etc.

  • hi Im honduran did you know that his raise of the minimun wage actually cost thousands of peoples jobs.... and his deal the petrocaribe became very unpopular because Chavez came to honduras to insult everyone who was against his politics

  • For the vicious socialists, everyone else who do not have the same ideas, is either stupid or a member of the oligarchy. However the difference is very simple : The socialist / comunist minds think that the government must hand out everything to them (healthcare, education, job security, etc.) They don't want to take responsibility for their own lives. Now, the people who prefer freedom, are willing to take control of their lives, work hard & don't blame others. Love my country Honduras.

  • you act as if those "freedom" loving "hard working"vicious capitalist are not the same oligarchies figureheads and don't push and pay to have corporate welfare legislation and favoritism enacted or just coup de etats and overthrow governments who are trying to work for the demos..

  • I think our military should have a coup like in Honduras. Are you listening Obama?

  • @cinnamonfantasy You sir are an ignoramus. We have a democratic process as underlined in the Constitution, which just as in Honduras is the supreme law of the land. The military is here to protect that right, not destroy it. Just so you know, this was not a "military coup," but rather Honduras defending its constitutional right to overthrow a president who wanted to break the law by extending his 4 year term. Don't be an idiot, and wish a coup here. Think for fucking second.

  • @cinnamonfantasy Who's gonna do it? As bad as we are I don't think the world is prepared for us to fail quite yet. It will happen and hopefully soon. Come one now China/Russia. speed it up a bit.

  • If Zleya is returned to Hondurus, this might be the beginning of the end of Obama administration. He is already accused of being too soft. If he stands by as UN forces a president-turned-dictator to be reinstated in the country which impeached him, this will become the central talking point about Obama's incompetence for the next 4 years.

The military had a warrant issued by the Supreme Court of Hondurus. Executing a court's warrant is not a coup.

  • Exactly. And he won't just stand by as he is reinstated, he will make sure he is reinstated.

Wherever communism or socialism is threatened... He'll be there!

  • This fat marxist is full of SH-T. Joseph Stalin would be very proud of him indeed.

  • Close down the military. Impeach Obama, whose parents, allegedly, worked for the CIA.

  • Obama condems the coup.

  • Obama has not cut off aid and has not withdrawn his ambassador. The coup leaders were trained in the USA.

  • There was no coup.

  • dems didn't block any legislation between 00 and 06. the house, senate, executive, and judiciary were controlled by republicans. stop talking out of your arse when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. can't stand it when 13 yr olds post on politically oriented videos

  • Obama is a fascist pig. He is two faced and a back stabber.

  • the folks in honduras are entitled to the govt. of THEIR CHOICE! not americas or the honduran generals,or a bunch of fixxed noise folks.

  • The stupidity is that the president they took out had the anti-American policy.

  • the stupidity is the idea that the arrest of zelaya was encouraged by the obama administration. obama is friendly to the leftist chavez and his friends, such as zelaya. obama wants the would-be-dictator zelaya to be re-installed in opposition to the honduran judiciary and legislature, who arrested zelaya for trying to remove term limits, something explicitly forbidden by the honduran constitution. the arrest of zelaya was both legal and just, as honduras thwarted his attempted dictatorship.

  • google "masacre de los horcones" read about Mel's origins...

  • Conservatives just need to shut the fuck up and accept the fact that America is now a left-wing nation.

  • thanks to the Russian media today that you are not quiet. ...... Long Live latin America!

    Martin.Olsson a Swedish red.

  • Extreme censorship of the media. All means of communication have been cut off including CNN, infact, the Us ambassador has asked Micheletti and his coup to open these means of communication again, but he has refused to do so.

also micheletti has opened an attack on hondurian civilians, and so far two have died.. What do you call killing people with out a lawful excuse? - ITS CALLED MURDER..

  • Oh please, you have no idea what you are talking about. They not beating civilians up, if anything the civilians are beating up the military. Why don't you do some research before you talk. Most of Zelayas supporters were paid to march in the street.

  • We all do not oppsose the coup. Seems the ouster was legal! No reinstatement, SCREW OBAMA and CLINTON!

  • It blows my mind that zelaya was merely opting for an opinion poll. and this was what created the attack..

In other words if your a politician in Honduras your not allowed to ask people what they want. WTF??? that's called a dictatorship..

ZELAYA IS THE MAN!! on thursday he will go back to take power. this will be a huge victory not only for Honduras but for all of latin america.

  • (7) Thus, President Obama should eventually support Micheletti in lieu of Zelaya. Hondurans support Micheletti. Remember when Clinton was about to be impeached for letting that sexy chick play with him and in the White House. If he´d been kicked out, nobody in the world would have contested that! The r. of the world should realize that this was a constitutional so-called coup. The military had nothing to do with it, except under orders from the Supreme Court, kick Zelaya out in his undies.

  • (4) botaron a CUATRO y nadie dijo nada. A saber, Bucaram, 1987; Rosalía Arteaga, 1987; Mahuad, 2000; y, Gutiérrez, 2003.

  • Only where is no USA embassy - no revolutions

  • Contra Costa solved their coup problems by abolishing their armed forces.

  • Glad to hear the banana cartels are gone. What replaces that order? From what I understand you have a seriously stratified society with the poor at the bottom and little social education prqactices to change that.

If you are speaking from the Oligarchy of business leaders who run the country - you lose credibility.

  • I think this is funny venzualas going to get there ass kicked by some little ass country how are they going to fight with america?

  • I'm no great fan of Chavez. I think he is full of bullshit. But there is a movement to change the way things are done in Cnetral America and much came from Chavez beginnings. Peru and Bolivia have shown that they are no longer willing to let the Oligarchy reign.

The same may be happening in Honduras.

The banana companies cna't run things for ever can they?

  • Man, we havent had a banana company since 1998, our main agricultural exports are premium coffee, melons. non-agricultural - mineral ores, apparel, vehicle parts. The biggest power playing here in Hugo Chavez which has funneled million of petrodollars to Zelaya and we even had problem with planes carrying narcotics with venezuelan flag.

  • u obviously want the conservatives to sink the country to a bigger shit hole then it is we have had the "Right" for too long its time for change we need to nationalize all our natural resources and use that money for better health care and education i am born and raised in Olancho u seem like a disinfo agent cause if u were from honduras u want change like everyone else considering MS13 and 18th are ruining everything also i would want all american bases gone so we can truly be independent

  • The american base in comayagua does not interfere with anything in Honduras, probably is the force preventign your buddy Hugo Chavez, from violating your sovereignity. You live in Olancho, the have a look at how much wealthier the Zelaya family has become in his presidency. Nationalization is one of the top reasons your Zelaya wanted a constituent assembly. If you want a business, then start one. We dont a Cuban system, we are fine with our democracy. If that system is so great, move out ot cuba

  • Most people here dont know jack about what has been happening in our country. Zelaya had consistently for the last year: 1. skipped sending the nations budget to congress - they found 3.5 million dollars in his office, all destined to the illegal referendum, that it just the expenses of 1 day

    2. With hold fund from cogress, supreme court and electoral tribunal, so as to debilitate the coming elections process and being impeached.

    3. Ignored the attorney general and supreme court

  • 4. Removed the head of military because he would not carry our his orders, which the supreme court has deemed illegal by the constitution.

    5. Navy, air force, and army heads resigned after this.

    6. At dawn before being arrested, he has publised a presidnential decree by which the congress would be dissolved and the other constitutional powers too.

    7. To avoid the blood-bath ensued after such confrontative actions, and his actions against our body of laws, the supreme court order a capture warran

  • This is a typical U.S backed overthrow of a Democratically elected government. The CIA has plenty of experience, Iran, Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Venezuela..(The list goes on.).

Latin Americans have enough centuries of experience to know who's really behind whats happening in Honduras

  • The only evidence Madsen offers that the USA orchestrated this coup is Obama's cautious approach and the General of the Army was trained by American troops in the School of Americas. When I first heard this story I was really hoping that the Army was defending their constitution against a socialist dictator on the rise to uncontested power. Can Madsen uncover some secret dealings between the Supreme Court, Congress and the appointed President, AND show a link to the United States?

  • Venezuelas army is too weak anyway.

  • Wow, didn't take long for Obama to show he is even more keen on egime change than his predecessor.

His dual loyalties cabinet is really showing the Bush team by having Obama "condemn" the coup. The only purpose of the "coup" is to tempt Nicaragua and Venezuela to support the people of Honduras.

  • This was an old style coup.. don't let anyone tell you differently. The power brokers were suffering through the four years of this democratically elecrted reformer... and when the chance came that he might be in power for longer to really make some changes to the military oligarchy.

He is ousted by the military.

  • Get your facts straight! its easy to give an opinion from the comfort of a democracy. The only reform this zelaya was doing was for his own benefit. He wanted to force indefinite reelection like chavez has done. We are a sovereign and independent country that does not need ideologies imposed from cuba or venezuela.

  • the Americans have bases and 600 troops and a CIA base in Honduras your telling me they had no idea a coup was gonna happen

  • So when is pussy Hugo Chavez going to got to Honduras to scared like a little pussy all talk and no show.

  • Obama didnt do anything and wont do anything hugo could go in honduras and probably not get in shit for it but they dont have a military anyway.

  • There is something fishy about this... His replacment looks like McCain

  • Another US destabilization operation...

  • The U.S has a lonngg history of assassinations, and coup's in Latin America. U.S involvement is hardly far fetched and rather should be the first thing investigated.

  • hosank

"conspiracy theorists bla bla bla" argument already doesn't work. Think up something new, ignorant moron.

Thanks for info, RT. USA continue to ruin Earth in constant destabilisation and chaos. This is atmosphere where US elite only can rule...

  • wayne madsen is an american conservative, and from what you write, it seems they are your worst enemy..ironic

  • "wayne madsen is an american conservative"

so what? is this your dumb argument? conservative, non conservative... He is adequate person, no matter of his political status, idiot...

But again, we see retardic argument: "bla bla bla conspiracy theoristss bla bla conservative". Instead of writing useless crap, you must hear what he is saying.

But it's impossible for such retards, like you, to make own research and find the truth. Because liars like you HATE all uncomfortable trurh.. zombies.

  • i watched the whole thing before i commented...and as i mentioned bellow, alot of what he said was factually incorrect. before calling my comments unfounded take a look for yourself

  • Listen, the great thing about speaking two language is that i can listen to the the news reach two different perspectives. Its funny how biased the news here is and how much is left out... what wayne madsen is saying is bang on, and you are completely wrong about the school of america's.. we used to hear the screams a block away from my house when they used to torture people in honduras. these bases are spread throughout all of latin america..

  • Hey, disinformed toehead bigot

I'll take my Uncle Jewie over your distorted post-anti-Semitic-fascist-fetishist-bagel-boogieman theories

    Listen to yourself

You're a primate, beating your chest because another ape has moved into your territory and has been more productive with the resources underneath your hairy knuckles which you drag across the dirt

  • Well done white USA you have fucked up another nation. Well done evil scum in the CIA another elected leader overthrown you evil cunts. White americans are horrible people. Evil right wing scum win again. Evil win again,. What a horrible horrible bunch of evil scum.

  • This was not a coup d'état, it was the checks and balances on Presidential ambition and power, in action. It is interesting to note that it is Chavez and his ilk, who are kicking up a fuss. Obama had nothing to do with it, and any benefit to the US administration is coincidental, to the extent that a foreign administration engaged in sound politics and economic policies, is not at odds with the US.

  • regardless the people want him in elites want him out this is a military coup central america has suffered too long under this capitalist oppression i know people who work for couple of cents in Honduras in la ceiba for walmart sweat shops i was born in honduras and the people want zelaya

  • But are they working in Walmart sweatshops at gun point. Do they have an alternative from which they could earn more, for doing the same amount of work, or less. And what is the spending power of such low wages in Honduras. The people want Zelaya because they have been led to believe that he can provide them with something for nothing. But when that fails, as it must, Zelaya is still a wealthy man, with the options that his wealth enables him to have.

  • I completely agree with you! People have been fooled to believe in him. Democracy will prevail in Honduras! How can an ally to the Cuban dictatorship, to Chavez, Ortega, Morales speak about democracy? They don't know what democracy is! What good have communism brought to Cuba? That instead of half the population being poor now ALL the population is poor? Communism does not work! Zelaya just promises people, he had 3 years to do something and he has done NOTHING for us!

  • People have been fooled to believe in him It is called democracy you right wing nazi thug. You support tyranny and abuse He won the elections he beat this opponent get over it you right wing crook. You are the Hitler You are the Stalin you are the supporter of tyranny and oppression You are on the side of evil. And you know it.

  • Zelaya should have been improving the legal security for foreign contracts, so that investors in Honduras' economy could risk their institutional investors' insurance and pension funds, over decades. It is this failure which necessitates that employment in developing countries is at the lowest risk to investors, and earning potential and quality of conditions for local labour. It just becomes a self-fulfilling, vicious circle, for the likes of Zelaya to foment unrest, for their own benefit.

  • I hope white americans get fucked up; the ass buy the latinos then you guys are scum.

  • You are here too? What are you even here, does this concern you or Western Sahara? Or you just like spiting hatred wherever you can? Chavez supporter I see. Name calling, spiting hatred...I see a pattern. And you are the one after democracy, right? After calling latinos "scum"? I see your lack of respect and eduction. When lost of words and argument...you start the insult and denigration. That only shows your lack of education and your superiority atittude comes from a inferiority self-esteem

  • When did i call latinos scum you idiot. I said the white usa American cia was scum you idiot. You are an employye of them i have no doubt paid to support evil tyranny. I have postgrad skills what do you have?

  • Yes this is a military coup!!!

  • u lying culero pedaso de mierda my people of Honduras want to re-elect him for the third term the elites of honduras are angry cause zelaya actually helps the people u disinfo agent piece of shit

  • Help people? Hahaha how? Giving them 500 lempiras and a new machete, that's help? I can see your lack of education just by the name calling. If he "helped" the people how come the majority of Honduras wanted him out? He helped a lot when we had the earthquakes and instead of helping people in Olancho he was spending money in the 4th run! You're so ignorant...he IS an elitist! He is not poor..he is a wealthy uneducated rancher who wanted to make Honduras the next Venezuela. Fuera Mel!!

  • kportillo I have postgrad skills. You are uneducated cum. I am against the white American cia abusing people. You support tyranny of your own people you are sick, and you were losing so created a dictatorship you are evil.

Plus It is spelled Helped you utter prat. For goodness sake you are an idiotic right winger.

  • One of the reason why they don't want to published the list of Latin Americans who attended the School of the Americans "Terrorist" Academy. This is the classic attempt by the CIA to over throw a democratically elected government. Now this poses a interesting question. Who gains from this coup? Washington DC's sphere of influence to beginning to wane in Central America, is this an attempt to prevent Central America from being free and independent from the United States Imperialist control?

  • Yes, it was a coup. Zelaya was elected and at the barrel of a gun was forced out.

Democracy rules, and the era of military takeovers is gone.

Don't be so quick to blame Obama or Hilary on this one. The coup *looks* like a typical CIA job, but, as Zelaya himself has said, the US had no role, period.

This RT report is pure propaganda -- the U.S. has charted a new course. It's Obama, not Bush now.

RT is very similar in style to FOX News: speculation and innuendo, not fact-based journalism.

  • It is NOT a military coup...

  • war everywhere, shame

  • "hegemonymony", your simplistic, ignorant analysis means absolutely nothing. I think it's pretty safe to say the Republicans are slightly more warlike than Democrats. Just a bit more ;)

Um, in recent history, Bush & the Dick, for example?

Your juvenile attempt at vague correlation is an example of why "History" is often described as "lies with dates".

  • If u like that oversimplified nugget, I've got another one for u:

Economic growth expanded greater under presidents who cut taxes. Hint: (R), JFK the exception

Bush's war was a policing & mopping up operation

Richard's war was done to end a (D) war

I agree with u, people's understanding of history is abysmal. Perhaps u should redirect your outrage at the Left, who have been running public ed since '65

The teachers union monopoly has been churning out an uninformed underclass for decades

  • Your correlations are unconvincing.

Oversimplification is obfuscation, and makes us stupid.

They are what Bush and Reagan, two intellectual dopes, used to get elected.

Your "facts" are off-base. Growth zoomed under your hated tax-hiker and liar-adulterer Clinton, and dove under your beloved capital gains cutter and liar-killer Bush.

Obama is tackling entrenched problems without absolutes, and with a sense of ambiguity.

He's cleaning up after Shrub, just as Clinton cleaned Bush 41's mess.

  • Unconvincing perhaps for a misinformed ideologue like yourself

Clinton rode on the coattails of Reagan's expanding economy. Reagan's policies led to the largest 25 year worldwide peacetime economic expansion in history. The Left cannot erase this record. Clinton raised taxes & handed a recession to Shrub

Obama is profoundly inexperienced, making the same mistakes of FDR & Carter... w/ a lil' Wilson sprinkled in

    ambiguity? ha.

This financial crisis is a direct result of (D) govt intervention

  • Ideologue-- not me. But you have certainly drunk the neocon kool-aid, despite how they've fucked the country and the world.

"Clinton rode..." you are hopelessly deluded with your dingbat assertions. Clinton and his team did the work.

Bush's arrogance and cluelessness at home and abroad are pretty damn indisputable.

You make no sense on Obama either. His intellect, and his cabinet's skill may get us out of the selfish G.O.P. shithole, if we're lucky.

But keep swilling and regurgitating FOX.

  • Misinformed yes

Unfortunately your leftist kool-aid is not as reliable as the neocon brand. The historical record is quite clear about economic growth, the left distorts this history. You've bought into their false narrative

    My assertions are historically accurate

Bush liberated 25 million people from a tyrant. Today's celebrations in Iraq are profoundly historic.

W's tax cuts led to 6 years of robust growth

Obama has an intellectual distortion. He's bathed in Marxist dogma his entire life

  • Unfortunately for you, and obvious to all outside the FOX newsroom and the shrinking hardliners of the minority party, your assertions miss not only the barn door, but also the whole barn.

You're reading and listening to sources whose leaders are of power and whose philosophies are discredited for a reason--

the great majority of the world is disgusted with their results and have rejected their narrow-minded, absolutist mentality.

I expect you'll always parrot the Sean Hannity line.

  • I dont watch Faux, but I understand what they're doing

My assertions are correct. The 20th Cent so clearly discredits leftist policies, it's amusing that you don't realize this. You'd rather demonize neocons. ha.

Imagine the great majority of the world being educated & informed solely by the Left. How would u expect them to think? Do u think their understanding of the world is well-rounded?

It would be the equivalent of Faux running the schools

Just imagine, your view of history is distorted

  • You're saying nothing, we're getting nowhere, you're welcome to your empty proclamations.

I'm just glad that the world can have a deep sigh of relief after eight long years of your philosophy's fuck-ups.

And I'm glad that most thinking people in the world feel the same way. see ya

  • You ain't seen nuttin yet.

Buckle up, it's going to be a rough 3.5 years. Perhaps someday soon you'll be reminiscing about the good ol Shrub years.

You believe in a false narrative, as with the rest of the 'thinking' people in the world who have been distorted by the Left.

    Discernment is your friend.

    See ya

  • "Obama's maiden coup"? This idiot is divorced from reality. Shame on RT for spinning their usual B.S.

Russia Today continues it FOX News - style reporting: a little truth and a lot of simple spin.

Insinuation and propaganda is all you get, along with shapely "news hostesses" or lightweight analysts.

"It seems like", "This looks like"...you are a disgrace to journalism, Wayne Madison -- you spew speculative bullshit.

Because it *looks* like something doesn't make it so, you simplifying hack.

  • The irony is the MSM has been dominated by the left for many decades. Faux is a recent phenomenon. They're reviled because they're eating into the MSM's market share & they're moving opinion. Faux is dominating the market

Faux is completely aware of your manufactured loathing of their news product. How do u think they'd respond to this? How do u think they would adapt? Their goal is to be as accurate & objective as possible & present all sides

Smart people notice this. Misinformed people don't

  • Hmm, maybe there is some hope for you.

Your unconscious use of FAUX for FOX may mean there's some unhindered part of your brain that does know that FOX is fake, manufactured outrage.

There is no pretense of objectivity there--Murdoch's demographics are the undereducated, and the zealots such as you.

The MSM has been dominated by more intelligent journalists than can be found on FOX. The journalistic calling tends to open hearts and minds--it's harder there for angry demagogues.

  • I'm making the point that the Left has successfully made you believe that Faux is manufacturing consent

As they're manufacturing consent in you

Angry demagogues like KO or Dan Rather? Who used forged docs to smear the prez? Just imagine if Hannity had ever stooped so low

Unfortunately you're in the disinformed demographic, simply because you're not seeing things for what they are. You're viewing the world through left-tinted lenses, & you've been well-trained to demonize the conservatives

  • Again, you say nothing. Your fellow travelers have fucked the world, and you don't have much to counter that reality, so this conversation isn't worth pursuing -- c ya.

  • Actually you are saying nothing - nothing but disparaging remarks about the opposition. The Left has trained you well. Good boy

I've explained to you how things actually are. You should think about this before allowing yourself to be whipped up by the Left into hating a political party. It's the modern version of what Hitler did in 30's Weimar

Democrat policy (CRA) & Dem institutions (Fannie & Freddie) 'fucked the world'. Bush tried to regulate them multiple times but the Dems blocked it

    c ya

  • "I've explained to you how things actually are." You have the annoying and deluded certainty of an O'Reily, or a Hannity.

You desire to present as wise, but it's a fail.

Like them, you use cherry-picked (and heavily distorted) statistics to buttress the tired, jingoistic, laughable lies you cling to.

    It's a familiar story.

You love Bush. That's enough said. The word you want, which fortunately is not cooperating with you, is an uglier, more selfish place than the world waiting to be born.

  • I don't know, who's more delusional?

Someone who supports the spread of liberty. Or someone waiting for a Utopian world to be born? Even though every past attempt at this has yielded human destruction on levels never seen before

My assertions are historically accurate. You should humor yourself & look them up on your own. Don't take my word for it

I never loved Shrub, but I supported his foreign policy. Now 25 million people are celebrating liberty

You're on the wrong side of history, champ

  • Let me answer. You are delusional.

One can support liberty in a competent, measured way, as Obama is with Iran and Honduras.

Or one can be a loud, provincial warmonger who causes unnecessary death through his uneducated stubborn absolutism, like your pal the dope Shrub.

Your shortsighedness on Iraq is a perfect example of the unwillingness to admit that Sadaam was Washington's creation for decades.

"Champ?". Look around, Chump --you'll see the ugly results of the failures of your worldview.

  • Sigh

Iran is not afraid of Obama, so it feels free to gun down protesters. Zelaya is a dictator who was breaking the law. Chavez is toying w/ Obama & giggling about it

Yes Saddam was DC's creation, lesson learned, so now we dont prop up clients anymore. But either way, the Left whines about it, but does nothing to resolve the world's problems

The Left gave us this ugly world thru aggression, feckless foreign policy or inaction

They were running the show for the vast majority of the 20th Cent

  • You are deluding yourself again. It's a bit amusing to see you relying on right-wing talking points, divorced from reality.

For example, the world agrees that if Obama began posturing, there would be more blood and repression in Tehran. I guess you missed that.

Obama is also winning the PR war against Chavez this week. Fact.

Your bullshit is all vague, regurgitated FAUX talking points aimed at dopes.

You're proving to be repetitive and jingoistic.

I am wasting my time, so I am done.
