  • Your biological one sure is though. Good luck with that. You'll need it.

  • Did she say "dick"?

  • Marie Julie Jahenny google it and read

  • I think you are so smart love the way you think out the box, what ever time you live in its the end of the wold! what a lot of drip i am with you on this my Doomsday Clock Just Ain't Ticking haah

  • it does

  • ur mouth and jaw line look 3-d

  • Haha, this made me laugh. I'm Assyrian and I know of this saying on the Assyrian tablet and I've used it with my mom when she talks about the end of the world. Thanks for the laugh!

  • TELL ME. Why did obama pass the NDAA? USA has killed 1 million muslims in Iraq. 5 million orphaned children. Lybia was bombed by NATO because it's refusal to trade in American dollars. Syria is about to be attacked. Iran will be set up in a false flag event. I know the world won't end, but it will and has ended for millions all in the name of "freedom". This is BS. It's all about money and a satanistic kabal.

  • 2000 years from now your dead and me too bibabeloeba

All of the God's children they all have to die

Pauper to King sworn enemies to kin

From men without sin to those with the beast within

The grave is absolute, the grave is all

O, Death where are your teeth

That gnaw on the bones of fabled men

O, Death where are your claws

That haul me from the grave

  • When we look out into the cosmos it seems ominously devoid of any signs of other intelligent life out there.

I think we should take the potential dangers seriously. Global nuclear war, destruction of the ecosystem... whatever it's not wise to just trust those in power to act intelligently in best interest of humanity.

  • Bullshit

    Google 'Assyrian clay tablet 2800'

    3rd link yahoo answers.

Assyria didn't even exist in 2800 BC

Also you missed the point of the Doomsday clock, the whole point of it was that nuclear weapons made the entire world incredibly fragile. It takes just one nuke to be launched and it could potentially mean the end of the world.

You might've not heard about the Cold War.. that kinda happened yknow.

  • id give her footmassage, then kiss her neck. then i would cook 5 meals for her all day everyday! No sex, as i don't deserve it! I would let her sit on my face even if she wanted to :)

  • drtrsedtsrtwet <- sorry for that but my facepalm could not withhold my head from failing on my keyboard

  • Shut the fuck up cunt.

  • oh, and I got another thing for ya. Christ on earth caused a "time change" (B.C. / A.D.).

The return (of Christ) JUST SO HAPPENS to coincide with "mayan" calendar "end times". So - yeah. It's legit. Apparently, some people are ultra positively charging themselves (turning themselves into beings of light) and raising their vibrational energy - in hopes for what, I'm not so sure. *shrug*

  • it's a ripple effect. "the end" happens Every Day, all day long (there are 7 billion WORLDS, in One) and people DO die (THEIR world ends). There is an eventual end of life for individual and collective life-cycle (all comes from nothing and all will return to nothing - this is an Eternal Truth). Eternal Life is very real. The universe is "born" and then "dies", repeatedly - for eternity. The process will never end.

  • you are a viciously opinionated and brutally outspoken critic of today's world! i think i'm in love with you! :)

  • I disagree with your doomsday theory....

I belive the end of the world will happen will GOD WANTS IT TO HAPPEN

  • k take your optimism and turn it squarely on it's head and you'll BEGIN to approximate the degree pessimism that lies at the heart of my bosom. Suffice to say I AM NOT OPTIMISTIC, in particular and general terms.

  • well how else are Jehovah's going to be able to sign you up? It's their main sales pitch

  • God, ur hot when ur right!

  • now a days everyone wants to blog......because they all think there soo ontop of everything

  • you are so beautiful and so full of noise.

  • ain't ain't a word

  • Another related rant--in my work (astrophysics) we continually apply for funding. The Universe generally changes very slowly, and there are measurements/technologies that if we made now would allow unbelievable, and otherwise impossible, things to be done 100, 1000, 10000 years down the road--e.g. in the discovery of E.T.I., interstellar navigation/communication, and fundamental physics. Can you imagine anyone funding a project with a certainty of mind-boggling results in 100 years? I can't :)

  • Well said. The other related thing is, of course, the limited ability of a fixed-term government system to make plans that will yield benefits only years beyond the scope of the term. As humans and as a society, many people tend to not think many years down the road, although I suppose all the climate change fuss has at least gotten some people thinking about the Earth their children might live on.

  • All I know is your hot hot hot, if the world comes to an end I would think of no one else better than you that I would spend my last days.

  • I completely agree... having said this, this time is different:D

  • Monkey dont u think I can visit ur site theresident, even if you block me by using ip bypassers, what made you block my IP....answer me

  • WHO GIVES A SHIT! Nobody can see into the future, so it may or may not happen . . . keep on arguing about this if you like, but it's like arguing to a brick wall . . . meanwhile, I'm going to go out and get an orgy . . . . . . . . just in case . . .

  • Yeah, but your biological clock is and your views are not getting any higher. I mean I like your videos and you are smart and cute, therefore, have your husband knock you up before that uterus shrivels away, that is if you believe in such wonderful things for the future....Not me; I pull out or support abortion, because I believe, well watch the movie Idiocracy.

  • Then, last week, we hear: Погром в Тегеране ударил по Ахмадинеджаду, from the Russian Ambassador to the UN no less. You have to search for it in the Cyrillic to find that it is published not just the the Israel National News and the Jerusalem world news, then you find it in Izvestia. It says that an "[an] Attack on Tehran is Attack on Moscow." Strategic analysts think the source and timing are more significant than badly written fiction. But then, Putin is such a little scamp.

  • Such goals are laudable, and we may even get there some day... as long as Iran can be denied a deliverable nuclear device. The US and USSR posturing at each other's missiles might as well be a bunch of bureaucratic alarmists just trying to justify their budgets in comparison. Israel and Iran would be a frightened abuse victim and a deranged sociopath trapped together, in fight to the death. Three minutes could be all it will take, in real time, Ms. Resident - no fictional clock.

  • can you sit on my face?

  • "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke).

You can say it's negative all you like but climate change, nuclear disarmament and how we can feed a world population of 6 1/2 billion with the static landmass that we have are important issues and I feel it's a little disrespectful to scoff at people who dedicate their lives to trying to fix these issues.

Also "awake people" to my ear sounds a little childish and condescending.

  • Oh my science, you my lady are beautiful!

  • bravo!

  • You are engaged, look quite well, a girl.

Why few subscribers? I've been a subscriber for a long time and I have thought about deleting you a couple of times. I will try to tell you why - because if noone tells you - how will you know?

To me - you try far too much to talk in quotes. When you say something to us the viewers... you talk like you are making a speech rather than having a conversation. Although the content may be substantial, this form makes it seem convoluted and superficial.

  • @deram Shut up, bonehead.

  • "...so much cooler, on a galactic level!" - love it

  • You go girl : )

  • More cleavage please.

  • maybe but it doesn't hurt to be prepared

  • @ohiopreppdude Wait why and how would you prepare for the end of the world if its the end?.

  • if there is a doomsday clock in the first place you would be on my watch right?

  • The doomsday clock is the only clock that loses a minute every minute.

  • @mjd7 ....the Egyptians had papyrus and the Sumerians had clay tablets written in Cueniform(picture writing)...The Sumerians were one of the earliest urban societies to emerge in the world, in Southern Mesopotamia more than 5000 years ago. They developed a writing system whose wedge-shaped strokes would influence the style of scripts in the same geographical area for the next 3000 years. Eventually, all of these diverse writing systems, which encompass both logophonetic, consonantal alphabetic

  • the vikings called doomsday-"ragnorak"!i agree, people should look back to the past/history for proof that we always had these predictions from ignorance&fear.but they've already rid of the past, calling it" old school."

  • @CinematicComics ...yeah, but they didn't have Global Warming and Nukes. As of 2009 there were 23,574 active nukes ready to blast off at the push of a button or 2. Trust me, that would end civilization as we know it, and probably every living thing on this planet.

  • @007HubbaBubba although the world has that capacity.i don't waste a moment of my time worrying about it.i don't think any country is that stupid,or suicidal, but you do raise a good point.

  • @CinematicComics ....the thing is though it doesn't have to be a country itself set one off, some rogue terrorists could easily sneak suitcase nukes into downtown Manhattan or Washington DC, and set them off, or even a uhaul etc. Back in 1945 WW2 the Hiroshimans and the Nagasakians didn't think something like that could happen either, but we know the result of that one. Man has not made a weapon that he has not or is not going to use.

  • The doomsday clock will start ticking in January 2012 if Obama is re-elected.

  • If the world ended tomorrow, Oh Well! I choose to live it in today! Reality is, no-one has control over anything anyway so why worry about it.

  • Is the world still demoralized?

  • Chess has its version of the doomsday clock. It only runs when the players are plotting moves. Have all the players resigned from the game? Probably not. The weapon of choice against those in power now appears to be alienation. And they may have succeeded to some extent. Which is more likely now? Economic collapse or armageddon? Is the apathy doomsday clock that is now ticking?

  • Right, well, the problem is that fear is greater than all other emotions, so we focus on the end. But the most predictable reaction we have is denial. The end is coming and we probably won't have any idea when. It's 6 minutes to midnight.

  • Singularity Event, Georgia Guide Stones, nanites, transhumanism, genetic sequencing

  • The Mayan calendar? They knew the date of the end of the world but they didn't know that Cortez was coming. Come on really.

  • @1112000kronos Actually, 2012 is a rebirth-through-destruction cycle. They said nothing about the world ending.

  • @1112000kronos Everyone assumes the Myan's created the calandar...

  • illuminati new world order the elites don't give a s*** about you they want to kill you they want us to be broke to death ...SOPA is only the beginning

Georgia guidestones = 8 stones writtes in 8 different languages saying that there will be a new world order with a new common language for every one and that humanity must be less than 500,000,000 five hundred million!!! AND THATS WHAT THEY'RE REALLY DOING!!

  • blah blah blah blah :)

  • ... Your a purty lady I tell ya what.

  • Hells to the yes Lori. I'm looking forward to us being on some kind of 5th Element level

  • Hate to disagree with you Lori but the Doomsday Clock has nothing to with Mayan calendar or anything like that. Human now have the power to destroy the Earth.

  • If the world is coming to an end, there's no reason to write a book.

  • Actually dinosaurs were aliens from another galaxy and the world as we know it will come to an end when they return to reclaim their feeding grounds. That's right people, We're the main course. What do you think? Does it wash?

  • The Chinese spreak good Engrish, and they work hard.At least the one's that come to Australia do.Plus they're buying our iron ore....Sweet!

  • Is your biological clock ticking? Ok that's my lecherous comment done! The resident could be right. I hope she's right. But Iran trying to deliver a nuke...The euro in downfall...and if that goes the USA won't be long after...Should we start leaning Chinese now just to get a head start?

  • @musicalglenn69 Learning Chinese might be a good thing to do just as friends.

  • Death lies in-store for every person and the threat of destruction lies over the head of society, but while the individual will die the people may not.

  • NO!! The world is going to end, it must, I have a party planned and everything...

  • i defo believe the end of the world is near, yes its all nice an comfy if ur in the west generally, but the rest of the world is suffering, most of the world. I believe the wars will get worse, greed will get worse, famine, drought, disease, disasters will all get worse, b4 they get better, but get better they will!!!

  • The Assyrian empire didn't have A bombs.

  • Never be rude to retards,unless they're aggressive.There's nothing that a good laff,and reasoned discussion can't solve!

  • How annoying are those Jehovah's Witness's?They seem to be the only one's who believe in that crap.I'm always polite when they come knocking, though

  • It probably feels like the end, if you're living in Cuidad Juarez,,Somalia or somewhere like that.I'm not interested in future generations, cos I'll be dead.I just want it to be better for the immediate future.

  • Humans. What other species would be stupid enough to create the very device that could lead to it's very extinction??

  • All one big Metafore my lovely.

  • I wish the end would come, i am tired of people saying it will and then doesn't. I get so terribly drunk on those days and have to wake up with an awful hangover.

  • Its refreshing to hear some normal optmistic people..you rock lori.

  • agreed

  • We're going to cultivate Mars. Heavy man.

You have very pretty hair in black & white.

  • I know it is stupid...

  • Lori, if you're interested in future predictions, Google "future timeline" and check out the first site which comes up :-)

  • I'm sure the greatest books will be in biographical rather than auto biographical form.

  • kiss :))

  • The end is indeed coming... "we all are going to die pretty soon..." - Steve Jobs

  • The end of the world is an old, old story... which is ending in exactly eleven months, hehe:!

  • You look better without the black eye effect.XD

Glad to see you positive, i get enough frustration by myself to watch a "Lori is angry with" video.

    Bye.

  • you are right. too many dicks spoil the broth and its not mankind its man unkind woman kind and people on earth and we need to create better community and fairness its about making the world a better place and yes we are slow and maybe ultimately too stupid with spouting on and on about human intelligence to ever get it right or perfect there is no perfect we need to stop providing weapons to people that are for mass destruction and we need to have better systems you have some answers-thanks
  • People enjoy drama. That's pretty much it really. Also, our inherent short-sightedness as you suggest.

It's kinda hard to imagine how a societal collapse like the fall of an empire could occur with the way our era, as you put it, works. Power will shift and in the next few hundred years we'll certainly see emerging countries overtake the West, but that will be a gradual thing; you won't see anything as dramatic as Rome falling!

  • A new Golden Age is dawning. I'm prepping for that.

  • Your doomsday clock ain't ticking? No? Well it should be. SOPA = the End of the Internet!!!

  • Throughout time, not just history, people have looked around and seen horrible things happening. Instead of taking an active approach to make the world better, they have chosen the passive approach and decided that it's too late, so let's just watch it burn. There is a hope within these people that the horrible life will end and they will soon be in place that is free from all the horrible things from the living world. We can decide whether life on earth is heaven or hell.

  • Look at the Youtube video for George Carlin - Arrogance of mankind

  • @frost0813

    a great prophet

i am sure he is watching us from above and laughing ...hahahaha

  • @peaceandparty He should be laughing. We are a very funny sort of creature

  • My Doomsday clock isn't associated with the atomic bomb or the Mayan calendar.

My Doomsday clock is associated with magnetic north moving towards Russia at 40 plus miles per year, Obama considering Larry Summers for World Bank president, the recent 'National Defense Authorization Act' becoming law and destroying the Constitution, and the Goldman Sachs Plutocracy which is now completely in charge of our government.

  • People tend to believe what the media tells them. They sit back and just eat up the bad news and not the good, if the media ever puts out any good news. I have listened to my mother all my life tell us we are living in the last days and times you better be right with the Lord. This will scare the crap out of a little child just waiting and thinking the earth will end at any time. Great article Lori, oh by the way Woody is about to fall off of the wall. I saw him kicking a few times. lol

  • This vid is very blonde.

  • I think belief in end of the world scenarios gives some people an extra sense of meaning in their lives. If they think of their lives as following a 'plan' or 'script' then an all-encompassing 'end' adds greater meaning to that journey. It appeals to the ego also, for when oneself dies the whole world would also. In reality, one dies and life continues onwards; demonstrating how seemingly insignificant one person is in the grand scheme of things.

  • nice

  • You are one cool chick.

  • The world is cyclical people need to stop looking at it linearly. So much science is so accessible and people still fall into these same traps.

  • Here is a prediction for you, one you could bank. It will be science and technology that will soon bring us close to the end of the world, by the end of the world I really mean a new era where we achieve some feats not yet imagined.

  • BTW TheResident, you are looking mighty gorgeous lately. :)

  • @Rockguitarnow She always looks gorgeous.

  • Yup, the Doomsday Clock is stupid. It should be abolished.

The American media foolishly refers to this stupid Doomsday Clock every so often, sometimes moving it back or forward. The clock needs to be disabled and abolished for good, ignored, thrown in the garbage can, and forgotten about completely. :)

There is no end of the world coming.

  • I'm a child of the Cold War. I grew up *knowing* that the world would end in a rain of nuclear fire. Yeah, that was a real healthy state of mind to grow up in.

  • I'd read the residents book I bet that's sooooOOooOoOo interesting. Btw I'm not writing a book, for your information.

  • you got some sexy lips, i want to put my cock between them

  • Like we dont know. Duhh!!

  • She's cool ("on a galactic level")

  • The arrogance of religious fanatics in America leads them all to believe not only in the afterlife , but that they have a place of significance in it . While many of them squander This one . Is that by design ? Is OUR reality being stolen right before our eyes while our gaze is fixed skyward, desperately searching for the GOD that exists within us all ? Is the desire to become closer to our higher power being used against us in modern America ? I have faith yet I am a Resident of Reason .

  • Please don't perpetuate the modern myth about ancient tablets or philosophers complaining about the behavior of the young people or the end of the world. No original sources for such claims exist. They're a hoax.

A hoax with a useful, good point is still a hoax.

  • I believe, for the non-religious, wanting the end of the world to come is a like a suicidal tendency - just to get this shitty life over with.

For the religious doomsday sayers, wanting the end of the world to come is a like a suicidal tendency - just to be first in line at the huge after-bar party. They have a vision of heaven and they are tired of waiting. It is their arrogant assumption that their "The End Is Nigh" vision is of unique significance and that they should be followed by others.

  • Civilization ends frequently. If you were a German in 1945, you could have rightly said that this was the end of the world. Or a Frenchman in 1789 Or a Russian in 1917 or 1991

  • @theresident you don't do commercial voice overs do you? I swear I heard your voice on TV the other day. (might be a dumb question because I know your are anti-hyper consumerism)

  • look this up: "A Brief History of the Apocalypse"

    shit being going on forever.

  • But but but there's a difference between predicting doomsday because of religion, culture, or ego instead of predicting doomsday because of our increasingly dangerous technology and willingness to use it on each other.

  • I agree, forget the end, let's focus on the future.

  • The rapture happened 2000 years ago.

    We are in HELL!

  • Funny if your wrong ! LOL

  • Glad I got that in before the world comes to an end.

  • If only the rest of the world shared the same amount of common sense. A lack of self importance would help everyone too.

  • First

  • This is a great video, iv always experienced a slight feeling of over laying doom when it comes to the world ending. In my short life time, there have already been two scares. Kinda remindes me of the little boy who cried wolf. lol
