Thank you for posting this video peterandfaith . Yes, I have enjoyed watching it very much. Now, I am going to watch Part II. I like it that that the the video isn't bouncing up and down and panning too fast, like many of the videos of the Philippines I've seen here in YouTube..
Gostaria muito de conhecer pessoas que falam Português ! Amo estas ilhas Filipinas acho tudo lindo as pessoas os lugares vou guardar Dolares para um dia ir ai passear
@fuedbdc Some people here speak Spanish but I don't know anyone who speaks Portuguese. English is spoken almost everywhere in the islands. Almost everyone can speak a little bit of English. The people are very friendly and much of the country is very beautiful.
Im also a filipino living in Canada but am a Canadian citizen. I have dual citizenship now because I plan to go back to the Philippines and just retire there. I'll just run a small business there. How much are those ripe mangoes? it said 50 pesos but for how much? 50 pesos per kilo? That's good deal.
I've been here in US for almost 2yrs now and I'm still not use to it. I want to go back or atleast visit my country Philippines. I miss going to the market with my mom and asking my older brother and sister to do things for me. LOl, we have strong family bonds. I miss the simple life, simple people but pure of LOVE! I especially miss the foods, american foods and the size serving is making me FAT!!
@21sinderella Well nakatira ako sa Australia for almost 10 years now would you believe? was around 11 or 12 nung umalis kami, ang laki nung lungkot ko, nawala i left behind everything i knew, my life my identity, but at the same time gained valuable experiences and met good people here in Australia that i wouldnt have learnt back home. What i dont miss is the traffic, pollution, krimen and corruption though. for the foods, che you could get 4 meals there with the AUS dollar being strong!
@LSHeartSS9795 Half your life you have been away? I left Canada 6 months ago and so far I don't miss it at all. I love it here - mostly because of the people. I hope you get back for a visit once in a while. Such a beautiful country with friendly and funny people.
@LSHeartSS9795 When I posted these videos I expected foreigners would look at them to see what it was like here. Instead it seems that mostly Filipinos living away from home watch them. It makes me very happy to know I can give them a taste of home, even for only a few minutes.
nakaka miss naman yung tuyo, yung yellow manggo, sinigwelas at kung ano ano pa higit sa lahat nakaka miss mamalengke sa wet market dito at sa america puro frozen na waaa....
@airvilleleenmae This video was shot mostly on Mactan Island with maybe one or two scenes from Cebu City. The video from Bohol was from a weekend trip.
i recently visited the philipines about 9 months ago and i am returning in 2 months i loved the people and the experience filipino people are always smiling no matter what. The kids are always joking and smiling. i cant wait to return and plan retiring there wh
@bostonguy221 : It sounds like you and I had the same experience. I knew I wanted to live here after my first visit. About a month ago that dream came true and I moved here with my wife after I retired last fall.
@peterandfaith that is the plan of my wife and me too, after my retirement to live in the philippines. My wife is from Cagayan de oro,but we want to live in bohol. Well,if i am lucky,8 years more to go to my retirement, and then we can go(we live in europe, the netherlands)
does anyone know where I can get these fruits shipped to me in america, like a huge box full of a variety of fruits. They don't sell them here in the USA and I really want it. I'm willing to pay whatever!
that's how i live in the philippines. i go to the market to buy my groceries. you spend less money here than going to the mall. i ride the Jeep back & forth. life is very simple here. they don't care about Ipod & the glamorous life like US does. this is how we live here.
Its the every day life that I am most interested in. I have more fun just walking around the market or through the barangays than I have doing anything else.
The people are so friendly and have such good humor. The children aren't at all like kids anywhere else and are a joy to watch.
I hope to live there when I retire and enjoy the people and the sights and sounds that go with them.
