Oh yes, I did!!! I love the show though I´m German. I´ve just uploaded a video myself against the axing of the show. That makes me very sad. Cleggy is my favourite, Peter Sallis is wonderful. In a few weeks I shall find out myself what he is like, I´m meeting him *happy* :-)).

How wonderful - I've watched the show since I was very young - I saw the first series and have just rewatched them by conicidence. I only recently discovered that Peter Sallis is actually a North Londoner like me - he makes such a ggreat Yorkshireman. Roy Clarke wrote so well for him. I envy you meeting him. I hope it is a good experience I've met one or two of my heroes and they've been great so hope it is so for you - will watch your video and comment!!

Yes, I´m very looking forward to the day, it was a chain of lucky circumstances. I know LOTSW only since last autumn, but it was love at first sight. I had just become a Peter Sallis fan (didn´t know him either before) by watching "The Wind in the Willows" (he voices Ratty) on youtube and then found LOTSW. He is just great! It´s a shame it isn´t aired in Germany!
