  • Is it Elise?

Elise seems like such a lovely person. Charming, accepting and respectful.

Why are some people not like this. I myself am a really respectful person. I respect others and never ever start confrontation or anxiety. But everywhere I can see people want to 'test' others. Maybe its my culture or the area I live. But we even have 55 yo ladies that try to take the piss!! But I guess its natural pecking. The weird thing is my psyche tells me not to peck??

  • @strunway yes, I think most people's natural reaction is to mock.

  • @Eliseharris lol I went off on a weird rant there! But hey you seem like a lovely person and a great presenter.

Id go for it if I was you. :)

  • your xmass tree got company at 0:58 sec's into your vid Chemtrail

  • Yes, the plane trails stick around for so long in the winter sky.

  • Wales Rules ! Go Wales Go Wales !

  • Hope u had an awsome christmas..... YOUR ROCK

  • Thanks - hope yours was great too!

  • where are the famous sheep that cover Wales?

  • They would be in fields and on the top of hills and mountains! I believe back many years ago they would occasionally escape and run into the more populated areas, but I have never seen them there.

  • Great film Elise. Happy New Year from us both in ours. X

  • Happy new year!

  • Does this mean that you have changed your mind about the artic expedition then?

Hope you had a lovely Christmas and that the New Year and all of 2010 brings you the things that you both want and deserve

  • you had more snow in britain than we have had in canada. strange concept...

  • happy xmas love.

  • Thanks - and to you too!

  • Wales in the Snow is always so beautiful. My ex lived outside Porthmadog and the surrounding villages looked so pictureseque within the white downfall. Have a great Christmas and an awesome new year, Elise.

  • Thanks - hope you had a good time this Chritsmas and the new year is great.

  • That looks more like a leylandii than a traditional silver fir, Norwegian spruce type xmas tree... so it will have grown a lot in a couple of years. I noticed a red robin looking at me whilst I was eating one of its larger and less agile cousins. I felt guilty... first non-veggie meal in 10 years too! Happy Christmas Elise... Happy Christmas Mr Bean.

  • Yes it probably is! My mother has told me she found it dumped out the back and replanted it a while back. Happy Christmas and new year!

  • MERRY XMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xxxx

  • Merry Christmas!

  • Merry Christmas Elise!

  • I LOVE YOU ELISE! MARRY ME!

  • Merry Christmas my lady.

  • White Christmas in Wales looks beautiful!

  • Tom Jones is Welch too! (MERRRY CRIMBLE LOVE)

  • Very lovely. Thanks.

  • Wish I could have a white Christmas

    Merry Christmas!!

  • Was Ollie the cameraman?

    Merry Christmas, Elise!

  • vary pretty snow. this beats my video for Christmas by a mile. there no snow here.

  • heeeeyy, nice camera work! If that's mum or dad working the cam, they've improved greatly over the past few years :) Merry Christmas, glad you got a white one.

  • Merry Christmas! I got someone else to do the camera work this time!

  • Nice Robin

  • Merry Christmas!!

  • Glad you got a white christmas Elise. Merry Christmas.

  • Elise you are a pudding pouring snow on your head...Have a good one:)

  • Yes I might regret that! Happy Christmas!

  • YES!!

    Hello Elise!!

It is relatively cold here... -9C, but we have only a bit of snow!

Happy Christmas Elise! Enjoy your coffee!

  • Thanks - have a good Christmas. That does sound very cold - wrap up warm!

  • I want for Elise and Ollie to be Married, mind.

    Tis for teh best.

  • White Christmas eh? Wish I was there.

    It's raining here, after being 39C (102F) yesterday. :-(

Enjoy the rest of your Christmas, Elise.

  • It might all be gone by morning! Thought I had better film it while I could.

  • Merry White Christmas! eggnog, you should be drinking eggnog spiked with rum instead of coffee! LOL

  • Good idea!

  • It's the same over here. First it's Fall/Autumn for forever, and then you wake up to a winter wonderland one morning. Which is great since I prefer snow and rain &c to a glaring sun.

I like the bird with the mustard-coloured-chest/face, by the way. : )

God Jul och Gott Nytt År

  • @Sonicmountain09 the robin at the end? Yes I spent ages trying to get a close up of that one!

  • Oh - that's a Robin ? I can understand that you wanted to get it on camera. It was beautiful. But I'd rename it Mustard-bib, or something. Shows you what I know about birds.

  • I'd no idea it was a robin either. I thought surely it was a Victoria's Golden Cheshire Earlington Mottled Warbler.

  • Ahh that looks great!

All the snow's melted where I live :(

    Merry Christmas!

  • So beautiful, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  • And to you - may your days be merry and bright!

  • Thank you!

  • You can have that snow. Half the trees fell down here because of a ice storm last year.

49 degrees here at 7:10 am with warm rain, hurray.

Do keep Ollie steadied, as he had a nasty fall recently.

I've never seen as cute or fat a finch type bird as that at 1:57. Would that be a orange finch, golden?

  • It's a British robin!

  • Wow, nothing at all like a mid-America robin.

  • Except for the red breast!

  • It's red breast is more sunburst orange and more like a marking. While ours is more an auburn like your hair and is colored like that the whole of the breast.

And our robin looks like the black bird in your video in size/shape.

Your folks are obviously feeding that robin well.

  • It looks more like our bluebird, which has become rare to see now.

Perhaps our robins were given that name because of a similar song to yours, as well as the red coloring.

  • Y'all robins are gorgeous. We have these things that look like magpies .. and are not that attractive at all.

  • Ollie went with you to your family in Wales? Are you 'sure' there's nothing between you?

Although saying that, if someone made me go to Wales I would think they hated me and were punishing me.

  • I usually invite friend/ people who would otherwise be on their own at Christmas. He will be the third now! It was a five hour journey because of the weather so he probably does think he is being punished!

  • isn't thinking he's being punished Ollie's default state? :-) hope you both have a great Christmas.

  • Hee! Merry Christmas and love to you and Ian!

  • re @Eliseharris

Ah I see, fair enough. I might have a nicer view on Wales if my pyscho ex wasn't from there, it's just unfortunate I'm afraid.

5 hours is a long time, took me 7 before though and that was when the weather was fine.

    Have a lovely Christmas though.

  • @Priestofbabalon That is alright my ex a Scottish man.. for years had me believing all Scots were drunken spousal abusers.. cause that is how all his family and friends were. I am American who is now happily married to a nice non drinking Englishman.

  • I'm sure he was privileged to be invited, including the 5 hours driving with you.

  • looks real pretty with snow :) we got some over here also or we got alot :)

Merry Xmas and a happy new year once again.

  • Merry Christmas!
