  • little dog power!!!

  • lol i love bears

  • "Henry, I'd hate to see what happens if you catch him." LOL

  • Actually, Yellowstone. And Alaska. Haven't been hunting, though. I'm not a hard ass like you and the 5 year olds who can shoot rifles.

Anyway, make a point. Are you saying wildlife shouldn't be protected?

  • Just because wild animals are fierce and would kill you if they thought you were a threat doesn't mean they shouldn't be protected, smart one. They're just living their lives, hoping that they can do so in peace.

  • Now that's funny.

  • good dog

  • Let me guess. Your biggest wilderness encounter has been your local zoo.

  • OMG! Haw Krewl. Animuls r no diffurint fram holocast victums. u krewl. (obvious sarcasm)

Just kidding. I found this video impressive. I didn't know dogs were more agile than bears. What those stupid yuppy Peta nuts don't know is that wild animals are mean and fierce, NOT cuddly like in Disney movies. Rock on.

  • lol

  • Strange as it sounds, most bears are afraid of dogs. It's mostly because dogs are generally far more agile than bears and can harass a bear without getting caught by them. The bear feels helpless and frustrated and runs away from the threat. I'd not want to go into bear country without at least one good dog to warn of bears and chase them off. A high-powered rifle would be good to have also, as well placed bullet is the only guarantee of stopping a bear attack.

  • Up in the mountains at sheep ranches they allways have a small annoying dog for bears, when the bear comes, they don't unleash the big dogs, they let go the little one, that pretty much does the same thing the one in the video does, irritating the bear so bad, that he decides to leave

  • "GDR352", There are some videos out there of Wolves doing exactly what you describe (If people want to look, YouTube features some of them as well). One wolf will nip at the Bear's backside, then the Bear turns to swat it, it dashes away,& another pack member darts in to nip from its angle. It's amazing how Tigers are generally afraid of dogs as well, as are most big cats (At least when dealing with a pack of dogs). The extreme defensive posturing of a domestic dog seems to throw them off.

  • thats some crazzy dog

  • skitem boy!

  • Why dont they open up on the bear?

  • crazy...its like a mouse and an elephant

  • wow you guys sound so concerned for your dog!

  • lol crazy dog

  • Maybe because you got chased by one of them? I bet you broke records climbing the tree too.

  • that little dog is cool.. i love how it scared that bear off

  • English man in new york by the police I think

  • did henry "catch him"? ahahahaha

this reminds me of the cat scaring the bear! hope nothing happened to the dog!

    +5!

  • I don't see why the folks filming this video are so nonchalant about that little dog chasing a bear.

  • ROFl a 600+ lbs bears runs from a 20 lbs dog

  • that bear was not over 300 lbs

  • wow, that dogs balls must have been bigger than his brain.

  • was that Henry or Baby?
