  • Haha, do this again but post lyrics :) So we can hear it all better :) THanks

  • im a calvinist all the way but this video i sad and if you claim to be a calvinist and yet support this video as anything more than as a good laugh you might want to do a little 2 Corinthians 13:5 on yourselves. from a brother

  • HAHAHAHA SO FUNNY! "GEVEVAAAAA"

  • lol

  • This was AWESOME!! :) "Arminians here."

  • i'm a 3 point armenian 2 point calvinist, but this is just mockery. YHWH elects, but he does give us choice. he sees what we will do, and elects on that basis.

  • @florinu123 Conditional Election is a man-centered, man-made construct for those who cannot deal with the pridelessness of divine sovereignty in salvation. It does not come from Scripture, but from Roman/Jesuit Semi-Pelagian scholasticism, passed down to the likes of Arminius, passed down to Wesley, etc.

Bottom line: With Conditional Election the glory goes to God and YOU. You're thanking God AND yourself for your salvation. You are co-Savior with the Lord. No wonder it appeals to man...

  • ROFL! I love the ability to laugh at yourself, I think if you lose that, then you are in serious trouble. Regardless of your a Calvinist or Arminian.

Personally, I am both Calvinist AND Arminian, so I can see the lol in both views. So, naturally, I am kinda in debates with both camps.

    But, CHRIST CRUCIFIED <3

  • @Wilkins777

Aye, that's wussup man! I'm a 4.5 point calvinist (Basically I put a big 'ole footnote on limited atonement) and I love to laugh. You should search youtube for a video called "calvinist witnessing". I laughed so hard at that.

  • @blainer19er Yo, dude! Since my last comment on this video, a lot has changed. I am now a 5 point Calvinist :) Glory to God in His saving work :)

  • ROFL what the heck?

  • haha. Awesome

  • "And so you see, that God has given us free will..."

"Get that Arminian sum--! Get that mu--!" *blam blam*

    LMAO.

  • WOW! That's exactly how them cats act!(lol)

  • funny...but, a little extreme, any arminians watching should go read death of death in the death of Christ by John Owen!

  • aint no freewillers around!! lol thats funny... come on ppl its a joke loosen up a lil bit... stonefaced christians... swiss siiiiiiide!

  • Um.... I'm a Free Will Baptist Bible College Alumni and I do not appreciate the video-- nor the guns pointing at the students...

  • Oh please oh please oh please just gimme just one more heezy.

  • I am a reformed Baptist. I think Calvin should be my middle name.

That aside, there is quite a blasphemous part in your video. The thing with Calvin on the cross. I would recommend you take that down. Thanks

  • I agree with jorelk. I'm Reformed Baptist through and through, but something about this approach, well...

I understand that we are often accused of "worshipping Calvin instead of Christ." It still should not warrent a depiction of Christ on the cross, with Calvin's face, even in satirical jest.

I also understand the satire. You're turning around many of the arminian arguments against them to point out their foolishness.

But some of the humour, the cross thing, the guns ... It's unsettling.

  • I'm an arminian, but this is hilarious.

  • @bossmanham

Haha I'mma calvinist and it's hilarious! Wanna see a hilarious video that mock calvinsits? Youtube search "calvinist witnessing".

  • dont put murderer in quotes, becuause there are too many books out there, and i can quote hundreds of cites that prove he was a murderer, so hateful was calvin that he used green wood and watched as servetus burned for 1 1/2 hours, a slow death, instead of regular wood, thats ur teacher , you can have him.

  • tiawaddauthink :: There are also a lot of books out there claiming that God isn't real. Does that make it end-all proof?

Servetus was a heretic, but Calvin did not put him to death! Calvin pointed out Servetus' heresy (rightfully so,) but it was the Catholic Church that burned Servetus. Nor was it Calvin's desire that Servetus' death be so severe.

Goodness. But if he had burned Servetus? The Apostle Paul also did some terrible things in his past -- do you also avoid his teaching?

  • Uh, no. The state of Geneva burned Servetus, and Calvin encouraged it.

    Calvin didn't personally burn him.

  • bossman -- My appologies pertaining to who carried it out. It was Geneva -- But I do recall that the Catholics had also condemned him to be burned -- so that we understand the culture.

However, Calvin had submitted that the death be less harsh than burning and was turned down in Geneva -- so he *did* not encourage the burning.

Remember that this was common practice in this day, and would not have shocked anyone as it would if a modern institution called for the death of a heretic.

  • It may have been normal, but that didn't make it right. Geneva was run by the Reformed church.

I just find it ironic that after they had split from a church that practiced unbiblical things, the Calvinists in Geneva did the exact same thing. It's somewhat scary what they did under the council of Calvin in Geneva.

  • My point being that under the rule of the Catholics, things had fallen so far from the Bible that even in striving back to Truth, not every error fell away at once.

My point is that tiawaddauthink's account is a gross exaggation, to the point of absolute misrepresentation. Calvin did not carry it out. He submitted that it be LESS harsh, and he was not present when it happened. But if we are to condemn him for even his approval of the matter, we should condemn all in his society and age also.

  • This is a heretical video. If John Calvin were alive to see such a thing he would have a coronary! The person who posted this video needs true repentance!!!

  • The men who made this video just show they have no real love for the truth and no fear of God.

  • Roderick has seriously gone mad!

  • WARNING: This user & the websites he promotes are hyperpreterist -- hyperpreterists believe:

#1 Jesus came back once & for all in AD70

#2 The resurrection of the believers happened once & for all in AD70

#3 The judgment of the wicked & the righteous happened in AD70

These positions are not like ANYTHING in historic Christianity & thus are NOT Christian.

  • Give it a rest already. You're obsessed.

  • Oh gosh .... So this is the pattern:

    - Take the title of a belief-system.

    - If that person is vocal about that belief, add hyper before it (even if its already a term) to imply "fanatically devoted to--"

    - Then, after you change their title, misapply the definition of the already coined term to them.

    Preterist =/= Hyperpreterist

    Calvinist =/= Hypercalvinist

I would only insist that Christ is King, reigning today, and that judgment is coming, but the "milennium" you are waiting for is now.

  • This video is pretty much the best.

  • Read the info to the side, it's satirical. Also I'd love to hear you defend the assertion that John Calvin was a murderer from the beginning.

  • you sound like a sad person... which is interesting because they say ignorance is bliss....

  • haha.. this is hilarous

  • LOL !!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude...you need christian counceling bad!!!

  • How so?

  • This video is the reason the internet was predestined to exist.

  • Hahahaha!
