You are right, most people that think you can lose salvation dont really know what it is. Salvation is not just getting your sins forgiven, Salvation is being born from spiritual death, given Gods Life. So to lose your salvation you would have to die spiritually. This is what I'm trying to figure out...when did this phrase "saved" come to play? People walking around saying "I'm saved"? I can not really understand it. I believe that If a person does so, than that person was not truely saved. Once saved always saved, we dont do anything to gain it,and we dont do anything to loose it.

if you know you must endure to the end to be saved...what are you then? <----- this question doesn't even make sence guys........first of all you wont think your saved you will know your saved. like lifetube777 said he who has begun a good work in you will finish it. remember Christ said whom the father gives him he will by no means cast out, so if im born of him im taught by him, he lives in all whom accept him as there Lord and Savior.

the evidence that a person is saved is a changed life (born again) and a growing in godliness and holyness and fellowship with christ....and when God saves a man he will sanctify that man unto him by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit........2 corinthians 13:5 ezekiel 36:22-28

you must have assurance if your saved. If you can't confidently put your trust in Jesus that your sins are forgiven, your not saved. We as individuals can no weather or not if we are saved. The book of 1 John will tell you. Jesus also said you will know them by the furit they bear. You must know your're saved to be saved, but no under false pretenses.

This is what I'm trying to figure out...when did this phrase "saved" come to play? People walking around saying "I'm saved"? I can not really understand it. Paul did not say that he was saved but he said he must keep his body under subjection lest while preaching he would be a castaway...At the end of his walk he spoke about finishing the race...but he never boasted about "Being saved"...so why is it so popular now?

My point is this, the scriptures will let a person know if they are saved or not. Either you are living a life consistent with the bible you or contray to the bible. I believe I'm saved because the scriptures testify that I am. If your life does not match up YOU ARE NOT SAVED. IF YOU ARE SAVED YOU WILL PERSEVERE TO THE END. 1 CORINTHIANS 1:8, PHIL 1:6 YA DIG.

From when I read the Scriptures I see different... Matthew 10:22, Mark 13:13, Matthew 24:13 (From Jesus Himself)
2 Timothy 4:7, 2 John 2:9, 1 Corinthians 9:27 From what I see is...if you persevere you will be saved. If you truly believe, you will persevere to the end.

"To endure to the end" -- that´s exactly what we need to hear. I am a minister of the word and samcraments of a small congregation in Louny, Czech Republic, central Europe. There is only 15-20 of us, in quite hostile atheist enviroment. Yet 2-3 new brothers and sisters are comming every year. And always they hear about the eternal preservations of saints, it's a great comfort for them, since they feel realy unworthy to belong to the church of christ. You have done a good work.

This is a proof of genuine salvation.

I'm a girl. Those who are not his sheep are the ones who decide NOT to live sin free. Your doctrine's err. An excuse to sin. Read the 1,2,3 Johns-states that we should live a sin-free life. We can live a holy and perfect life and THIS is the reason GOD gave in a form of a man to prove that a human man can walk this earth sin free AFTER accepting CHRIST and his doctrine. You look like you are into lust and this doctrine is for your flesh. Without holiness, NO MAN should see GOD.

Please get rid of the background music. What is your point? Are you trying to say that GOD is not going to send someone to hell AFTER they get saved? There is no once saved always saved. This is your doctrine. If we are ALWAYS GOD'S then there would be no hell or controversy because SATAN would still be in heaven. Was it that satan never belonged to GOD? Satan also belonged to GOD. A Christians is not promised eternal salvation unless they live holy and sin free.

God is definetly going to send people to hell, those who are not his sheep. read john 6:35-39, and john 10:25-34. Ephesians 1, and so on. Brother you can't live a holy and perfect life, that is why Christ came to die. He had to do something that we couldn't live holy, and because of that the righteous of Christ is applied to all those whom the father elected before the begining of time. peace brother.
