I actually have a lot to say about a couple of potential pairings based on people and events in the cannon. If anyone is interested, I can post it on my profile or something. Please remember to keep an open mind. It is only my speculation. Anyone who has been following this series should know by now that Kishimoto likes to add twists and turns to keep things interesting. He had claimed that he is not confident in writing romance. I'm open-minded about this as well!

@Japangothgirl9 GaaraXSakura is actally plausible. I was once an avid SasuSaku fan until I started to connect the dots in the cannon. Sakura is a lot like Tsunade. Tsunade had a boyfriend and a little brother whom both wanted to become respected kages. Naruto has been likened to Tsunade's brother. She loves him like a sibling. What other kage do we know that is near Sakura's age? GAARA! Ironically, Gaara became the Kazekage for the same reason Dan wanted to be Hokage. (there's more)
