I've seen this video from other youtube users showing the same problem..and the potato character seems to have many malfunctions...why doesn't the Disney theme park just rebuild a new one or hire a better MECHANIC!!!

@MushroomHedgehog No. What was supposed to happen was he takes his ear out, and then puts it back in. If you look close at the begging of the video you can see that he tries to put his ear back in his head but he missed the hole his ear goes into. So he thinks he put the ear back in and then he opens his hand. The ear then falls out of his hand. If you read the description it says he still has problems. They are trying to make it so that his arms can perfectly put his ear back in.

That poor potato did stuff inapropriatly with his ear. he rapped it, and kissed it. MR. Potato head was caught by the police, so he tried to put the ear back on his head, and he dropped it. so MR. Potato head put his hands up in the air, and goes to Prison.

When he dropped the ear it tripped sensors designed to shut his movement down if some kid gets too close. That's why his arms went up.

If anyone is curious, Mr. Potato Head will still take off his ear from time to time, they don't seem to be having as many problems with it anymore.

Yesterday I was at California Adventure and saw him do it with no problems.

The first time I saw him take his ear off and put it back on again at WDW.... I was like "O.o!!!"

It was weird once we were in line and he was not really working right and when we got out the curtains were closed and a few hours later when we got back in line the curtains were still closed so I looked behind it and he was gone.
