Absolutely fantastic. I wish I were spending more time in Japan so I can have time to check out places like that, and even stay a night there. I was looking at a place I believe northwest of Kyoto called Miyama-cho to stay in one of the traditional thatched roof homes, as well as Koyasan, to spend a couple nights in a Bhuddist temple. Those among other places.
