  • I wonder if they would praise my last name...Kiso :D

  • What time of year did you go here?

  • SO beautiful it's like old Japan frozen in time.

  • Great Vid! Thanks for sharing.

  • Beautiful. Makes me want to hop on a plane right now. Same goes for the kamakura matsuri video. Irresistible beauty.

  • That is why I love Japan so much! It is so amazing to learn about the long history and be able to see this history so well preserved! I hope America maintain such a pride in it's history when it is as old as Japan!

  • I love Nagano, Dave!

    Awesomely beautiful!!

    5 stars!

  • Lovely video, much appreciated :D

    Keep it up :)

  • Wow..

I bet that place is much better in person... minus the cold. hehehe (-_-')

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Nice video, seeing it in the snow , i went there in the summer of 2008, i do think though that Magome is in the Gifu Prefecture....

  • I know someone who served a mission in Tsugamo. He wasn't very successful, but he got to know a lot of the ainu people who lived there.

  • ainu in Nagano?

  • In the seventies there were.

  • I like this place. Been there a few times.

  • Amazing indeed! Thank you for sharing... Damn! I miss Japan so much.

  • The architecture is amazing ! I need more !

  • Absolutely fantastic. I wish I were spending more time in Japan so I can have time to check out places like that, and even stay a night there. I was looking at a place I believe northwest of Kyoto called Miyama-cho to stay in one of the traditional thatched roof homes, as well as Koyasan, to spend a couple nights in a Bhuddist temple. Those among other places.

  • not exactly sure but it was made of mochi. It was similar to what I ate earlier in the video

  • omg its so pretty there. why cant we have places like that here in america? the only places like that you gotta pay $1000 just to go to and most likely its some spa

  • Awesome!

  • fantastic video!!
