That is why I love Japan so much! It is so amazing to learn about the long history and be able to see this history so well preserved! I hope America maintain such a pride in it's history when it is as old as Japan!
Absolutely fantastic. I wish I were spending more time in Japan so I can have time to check out places like that, and even stay a night there. I was looking at a place I believe northwest of Kyoto called Miyama-cho to stay in one of the traditional thatched roof homes, as well as Koyasan, to spend a couple nights in a Bhuddist temple. Those among other places.
omg its so pretty there. why cant we have places like that here in america? the only places like that you gotta pay $1000 just to go to and most likely its some spa
Very interesting vid Dave...I love those double fried fish, did you eat the head? haha...ahhh so there is 2 Magome's in Japan then! My bro/sis in law have a place in Nishii Magome Western Tokyo & this is another Magome in the Kiso valley of Nagano prefecture. I didn't know there was another one...cool vid man : )
I wonder if they would praise my last name...Kiso :D

I know someone who served a mission in Tsugamo. He wasn't very successful, but he got to know a lot of the ainu people who lived there.
