Hence the decline in which this Documentary picks up from that point........

And Finally Modern Rock (ie the rock discussed in this doc) is a derivation of blues not Rockabilly like Buddy holly big bopper ect..... Hence Guitar Riffs, Call and Response, Improvisation , Rangy Vocals......

@UTFRG that is a very wrong statement... obviously you haven't heard songs like: Helter Skelter, While my guitar gently weeps, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, a Day in the life, revolution, etc. the beatles started playing a genre of music called "skiffle" then moved to a Chuck Berry type of rock and roll, and then to their own psychedelic style of rock. The beatles did whatever they wanted with music, they didn't follow rules, and correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what rock music is all about.

Pepper, but i get you, Sgt. @AndreSiraSebastian I think that it's a very debatable subject (but there's no comparison to the backstreet boys, the beatles had brains :-S) but what I'm sure of, is that the beatles were a big influence on bands that came out after them: David Bowie, Queen, U2, Nirvana, Oasis, just to name a few.... this is the main reason why I think the beatles should be in this documentary, but they are not, it's still a great documentary...
