You did something to EARN that. It wasn't a right. It was part of your contractual compensation from the Air Force, and not at all 'socialized'. You were provided military care. I grew up a Air Force brat, enlisted in the Navy at 19 and am currently letting them pay for college. I grew up with military health care. Recently I bought a private health insurance policy, and even with insurance, publicly available health care is not on par with military care, nor will it ever be. It's not the same.

I agree its good to have a smart man in the hot seat for a change, for one a man that can really approach issues on a intellectual level. Barack is very well read,has a law background, is a great orator, and show great leadership and courage to tackle the really big issues in front of him. What is really great about him is that he has made this historical election inclusive for all people from all backgrounds, races & religions.

From an outside point of view I believe actions speak louder than words so I think Americans shouldn't celebrate so early, they have to wait and see what Obama does, if he keeps his promises, people shouldn't follow him blindly like did with Bush during his first and early second term, people should always remind him of his mistakes and show him the way. I believe celebration comes when leaders make good things for their people, not before.

It's true that vigilance must always be exercised regarding anyone who is in a position of power, especially the POTUS.
But Obama's election, considering not only the historical context but its implications in light of the dismal job of his predecessor, is most certainly cause enough for celebration.

Moore has the guts to say what he thinks and in this country it is getting harder to do that. Personally I think Palin lost the McCain election. Epic fail. why does Michael Moore dodge questions about Rahm Israel Emanuel (that's his full name), a dual Israeli/American citizen?
Does he realize that this man has a reputation as the Neo-Con of the Democrats? That he is an unrepentant supporter of militarism of both Israel and the US?
Rahm Emanuel is a supporter of **Mandatory Service** of 18-25 yr. olds - think CalTrans, the draft, or a capitalist/neo-liberal gulag.
