I do believe that the official canon is that they are equally matched in the fighting department, but Callisto's rage (both at Xena and at the fact she hasn't already made swiss cheese out of Xena by that point in the fight) causes her to fight irrationally, thus giving Xena the upper hand.

Are there honestly no more straight up clips from the show left on youtube? I've searched everywhere and its all music videos, which are nice but its fun to just key it in and get your favorite fight scene every once and a while :-)

Callisto is cool. In greek mythology Callisto is a water nymph and got turned into a bear by Hera.

In greek mythology Hera also kills Callisto because she has an affair with Zues, and then her own child kills her when she is turned into a bear...I like the Callisto on the show... the goddess of Fire and destruction better.

I do have some videos with video of the episodes, and they are season 1 recap and an other one that can only been seen on myspace. The reason for these's videos is that they are a series of videos that I need to finsh. but I will start putting out more "video" videos.
