I would like to see Chlesea Tiller, Tre-C, Jacqueline Sironen, Aaron Briggs, Mark Czar and Mark Sagon as the cast. I beleive they respresent an interesting cross-section of the college.
Dan Spicer 1 was pretty enthusiastic and talkative - love the urban kayaking comment. The guy that hates annoying ppl would be pretty funny too - i'm sure he would have tons of funny stories. Mark C-Zar was funny too and would make for a funny engaging character.
I think this is going to become a big hit with some of the students esp. with how diverse and funny the cast is and how hard both cast and crew work:0 my other comment didn't make it but I was going to say they Publicised a lot and our non-traditional students didn't want to participate.
The video does protray many " Traditional student" 2 of which are executive board members for the schools student government. I think most of them Represent the school. They had auditions and apparently the non traditional students didn't feel like taking part in the opportunity.
I am thoroughly disappointed with this show as it does not represent the diversity of Three Rivers...there are many "non-traditional" students who add to the college and it is too bad that this is not reflected. Perhaps adding more potential for "depth" to the "characters" would attract involvement of these students.
We encourage all to participate when we make announcements, ask college instructors to announce, and post flyers around campus and in Blackboard. Unfortunately, non traditional students did not come by for the auditions. The cast was logically chosen from those who participated.
It seems like this is designed to be just another shallow reality show. If the show had been designed to reflect the struggles and success of so many "nontraditional" students who balance work, family, children, disabilities, AND SCHOOL...and laud their accomplishments while encouraging others with similar challenges to pursue education...perhaps more of these types of students would have found or made the time. But perhaps, too, it was intended to just be shallow and "fun" and that's fine too.
This project IS about students enjoying their time at Three Rivers and at Three Rivers sponsored events. The cast of Three Feet and Rising were chosen based on those who auditioned. If the viewership of this project is positive and sustained, then perhaps in another video project we can explore and portray another side of the college.

Honestly? I don't really want any of them representing me. But the kid in the blue shirt was the most amusing of the bunch.

Gee, where was I when the auditions were posted. Oh, well. Should be an interesting look into our classmates lives.

Definitely not for the non-traditional student.
I could see the appeal to a younger late teens early 20s crowd.
Great job putting it all together.
