  • It is amazing that she got into Harvard and graduated with a 4.0 GPA but she did take the easiest classes offered. If she were after anything different like Bachelor of Science should would probably be at a 2.5 - 3.0 GPA easily. I do think she did well for herself though. Hopefully she got a good job though, Bachelor of Arts is not really in demand in the job market.

  • incredible

  • Face it haters, she's smart!

  • scary brain power.

  • For everyone saying she doesn't deserve the 4.0 cause she is an Arts major, lets see you do it. Acctually lets see you get into Harvard in the first place. I bet a thousand bucks all of you people posting negative comments could never have gotten into Harvard even if you wanted. Leave the girl alone, she has already achieved more in 4 years than all of you will throughout your whole life. She got a 4.0 from the world's most prestigious university!

  • @balkykonis22 I never attended a college or a university. However, I have three Harvard graduates working for me. Some of us prefer to go our own way. And, like myself, some of us are enormously successful at it.

  • In college I studied phychology and hated it tremendously. I don't mind reading on the subject, but taking the course was different. She's blessed!

  • Wow. I envy her!

  • lol I took Calculus in high school

  • I am so mad. I got a 115 on my PSAT. Maybes its because I'm a sophomore?

  • @tyga6661 hey, take it from me. I got a 120 as a freshman. About 145 as a sophomore. On the regular SAT I got a 1780 junior yr. Then an 1800 senior yr. I improved a ton of points as you can see over the past couple years.

You will probably mature more and get better grades when you are a little older.

Take the ACT- my ACT score is equivalent to 1920, and it is easier, without the bullshit.

  • pyschology... seriously :/

  • @yvan1401 Psychology isn't easy dude.

  • @Thederangedwang There are higher levels of calculus than what you learn freshman year, especially at Harvard. She's legit I go to Clovis West and all my teachers all brag about her lol

  • well adjusted kids often get average grades

  • Gorgeous and extremely smart! Will you marry me Brittney? I'm the prince you've been waiting for all your life -- take me!

  • i agree there is something weird about this report. She has a 4.0 from harvard yet it says cum laude on her certificate when it should be summa cum laude. In addition, her followup report indicates that pepperdine is her first choice. Pepperdine is nowhere near a top law school...why would she say its her first choice? And why would she need safety schools when she is all but certain to get in there? somethings in this report just seem off....

  • Thats what i like to see intelligence and beauty

  • She probably has herpes

  • I'm confused. She got a 4.0GPA majoring in PSYCHOLOGY but now she wants to apply to law school? Her certificate says "cum laude" when it should be "Summa Cum Laude". With a 4.0GPA, she's working at Blockbuster when she could've gotten an internship that has at least something to do with law. This newscast is just running out of stories to broadcast!

  • Getting PERFECT grades is overrated, that's not what education is about. I've met some students who get awesome grades but don't have the best education since they are masters at following rules rather than being creative. Not saying this is always the case of course, but it does happen. I think you should strive to get good grades but you shouldn't sweat it to be perfect, it's not worth it.

  • yawn. tell me she got a 4.0 as a physics major & maybe I'd be impressed.

besides, it's not about the grades at a school like Harvard, but the networking & research opportunities. Yeah, she graduated with a 4.0 but she's now working at Blockbuster, a local small potatoes law firm and headed to Pepperdine Law School. FAIL.

  • @trillian202 its not what you know but who you know. Networking is a huge aspect for success.

  • why is she taking calculus in her senior year of college

  • Inspirational.

  • Congrats now you can spend years to pay your student loans

  • I admit. I am very jealous. She did a great job.

  • Congrats!!

  • love how the anchor changed the graduate's gender....you can tell the anchor didn't go to Harvard...

  • check out perfectgpablog if you want to achieve a 4.0 gpa this semester

  • maybe she sucked the teachers cock or something/? i don't know.. shes blonde with 4.0 at harvard.. something smells fishy

  • @shqiperiany haha 4.0 at sucking cock lol!

  • @P4KiiST4N word

  • well its too bad the United States needs people with more balls to solve the current problems then people with degree's

  • In addition, the only purpose for attending college is because it is required for your profession. If it is not required for your profession, then it is nothing but a waste of money and time. To have a college degree simply to say that you have a college degree is meaningless. If all that you seek is information, the best education in the world may be found at the public library. You don't have to be accepted by anyone in order to utilize it, and you have immediate access to it.

  • If Harvard University has courses where only a single student "is permitted" to receive an A in the class, then the Harvard University academic board have their collective heads up their asses. If any student may not earn an A in any class solely upon their own effort, then the entire purpose is negated, which amounts to what may only be described as academic prejudice, a concept which makes no sense, whatsoever, but which is evidently in effect here. As ridiculous as that sounds.

  • @JeffersonDinedAlone It's a false myth about Expos classes that only one student can get an A. Most of the expository writing classes are pretty difficult though so on average only about 1 or 2 students get an A (the classes have about 15 people in them). It is however true that a teacher must defend each A given out to an academic board. Either way though, this news report definitely has some factual errors.

  • i graduated with a 4.0 too!!!!!!....yep.. damn community college busted my ass though.....

  • @TheBsheep

I went to a cheap state college, and I will not be in any debt. I have the virtually the same education as a harvard graduate + I actually got to enjoy my college years instead of studying all day. I also have the same chance of getting into a top graduate school (standardized tests). It doesn't matter where you went to college, as long as you have a degree.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep So you are telling me that a Harvard degree is worth as much as Wyoming state, give me a break. It's not just the degree, top schools give you net working connections into the professional world that other schools do not have.

  • @Tomaldinho9 That is exactly what I am telling you. If you score the same score on a standardized test as a harvard graduate, then your institutions are basically equivalent. A 3.9 gpa from a state school is better than a 3.6 from harvard.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep Ok, a standardized test, yes, but that would have nothing to do with your university. But GPA? Absolutely not. Top companies in a given field will still hire a Harvard graduate over a Wyoming State student because of the name brand value that Harvard has. You are kidding yourself if you think a Wyoming State graduate can compete for the same job with a Harvard graduate in the job market coming straight out of undergrad.

  • @Tomaldinho9 obviously business type jobs have an advantage... but as far as medical school and graduate school.... it's all the same. I am not trying to work at a business though... so I don't care. If you are truely a genius, you don't need harvard and can invest in the stock market yourself.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep I disagree again. You can look at stats of the undergraduate students at top graduate programs and you will see that the majority come from the same school. Standardized testing scores are one measure that graduate programs look at. They also look at your GPA at your respective school, and extra-cirriculars, and yes, a Harvard GPA is weighted more than Wyoming St. GPA.

  • @Tomaldinho9 Wyoming state is a bit of an exaggeration though. Lets look at berkely, ucla, ucsf (best med school in country), Washington, illinois, purdue, georgia tech (best engineering), ucsd. There are a crap load of great state schools that are a better place to succeed than harvard.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep And its not so much that if you are a genius you won't need Harvard, if you are going into the business field and want invest, Harvard can put you in touch with the biggest and richest investment firms who have a ton of capital to invest. You'll get much more money from a firm than you will investing by yourself.

  • i thought harvard degrees were written in latin....the harvard degree pictured here is in english.....what' s up?

  • grade inflation...duh.

  • she is hot too.

  • 4.0 sounds foolish, doesn't it? That's like saying, "4 plus nothing". Simply say 4.

  • Lol, Physcology.

  • Just Wow (or is it Waw!!). I'm currently a college student and i know how hard it is to have such a perfect GPA, especially that you're a Harvard student.

    Respect, Brittney!!

  • As somebody maintaining a 3.9 UGPA (just finished soph year), I'd love to know what practicality a 4.0 GPA has, especially for law school. As opposed to,say, a 3.8 and above. Good for her, but seems like it's exclusively a symbolic victory more than any sort of guarantee of lifetime success.

  • @LukeTennisMofo it seems? Really man? Of course it isn't a guarantee of lifetime success. For all we know you could be a better student than her :)

Numbers do have weight (as she's definitely getting a better job than most people who might even have graduated with her) but they can hardly capture the true worth of a person.

Well, at least we know she's not a slacker, is good at adapting and that she knows her priorities. I commend her for that.

  • Mmmmmmmm it's a psychology degree... Why is this considered impressive? She just said she was taking a Calculus class senior year...

  • You are my hero and role model! I would like to be just like you academically (;

  • now im depressed...i struggled getting a 2.0 in a local community college..

  • @angela1894 you've clearly never been to university. You can't get undergrad degree (4 year degree) in law. A bachelor of law doesn't exist, you apply to law school once you receive a bachelors degree. Most ppl go for arts cause it's the easiest degree you can get

  • It takes plenty of blowjobs for those grades fo sho.

  • I was seriously very impressed with her outstanding achievement until I heard her major...If she would have done the same in any branch of Engineering or Physical Sciences, now THAT deserves a standing ovation.

  • I WanT Know How She Did't Omg Wish Her Nothing But The Best 4 Her I also I want 2 Have 4.0 GPA Can You Please Give Me Tip How To. Please, Thank You .....

  • Nevermind, psychology lmao.

  • What is her major? Calculus senior year lmao.

  • i bet she definity apply some sexual activities with da profs.

  • hahaahahahah blockbuster? what a fail

  • This is impressive but she got a 4.0 in psychology. I'll be more impressed if she got a 4.0 in Engineering from CalTech,MiT, or Stanford! Also if she got a 4.0 from Harvard then why does her diploma say "cum laude?" Shouldn't it say "Summa Cum Laude?"

  • @lb1309 Cum Laude is the highest honors you can receive without completing a senior honors thesis at Harvard.

  • @lb1309

    STFU. There all extremely difficult

  • @lb1309 Also...Theres also magna...But A. I'm not sure how harvard's grading scale works but you could potentially get a 4.3 gpa if they give out A+s...It might only be straight letter grades though. It also may be through distinction of difficulty of classes and/or how your professors mention you...

  • @lb1309 Harvard has a different standard for summa. They also look at extracurricular activities.

  • @lb1309 You made some very good points... Another thing is that she was taking Calculus in her senior year? General Calculus is something just about anyone can ace. She wouldn't have aced something like Real Analysis or Topology if she took either of those.

  • @lb1309 Lol don't undermine psychology. It is considered one of the most arduous majors in college.

  • @lb1309 no I think it should be "Maxima Cum Laude"

  • did she blow all professors HA

  • she was definitly at parties. she has a F on losing her virginity

  • OMG Legally blond is real!

  • congrats to her!!

  • and shes hot too... dayum

  • UNIVERSITY IS BOLLOCKS

  • It's not about the schools... it's about the students. Anyone can succeed. American kids are just lazy. Stop making excuses for them.

  • @ 2:02 damn that sucks only ONE person can get an A?

  • @Peon546 I know right! I think that it's crazy that the professor has to defend it!

  • Why would you get a degree in psychology if you wanted to go to law school all along. This is obviously someone who was insecure about being a small-town kid in big harvard and wanted to prove herself by achieving an impossible feat. She knew she couldn't get a 4.0 GPA in law so she chose an easy subject (psychology)

  • @angela1894 loool ya i agree if she get an A in engineering ,medicine or chemistry i could say she is genius

  • @angela1894 Some people don't figure out what they really want to do right until they graduate. LOL @ u. You're so obviously jealous it's hilarious. You probably haven't even been to college. Why are you so insecure of your own academia that you have to degrade other peoples feats on youtube?

  • You can get a perfect GPA if you do an easy enough major. You'll probably have to stay away from Math or Physics.

  • lmao at all the guys hating on this chick. Classic.

    Feeling emasculated much?

  • most of the people commenting here don't quite comprehend how amazingly difficult to do what she's done.

  • and now she works at BlockBuster, made me LOL

  • Comment removed

  • Guys, her degree was in Psychology, it's a stupid subject. If she graduated with a BS in a real science like physics, then I might be impressed.

  • @Taowhr ok Psychology may be stupid but are you in Harvard? NO

  • @Taowhr psychology is a real science as well, it is not a stupid subject think before your type! a 4.0 gpa is manageable but hard to achieve, only 6 undergrads in harvard history got it so she did a great job. Instead of saying psychology is easy, why don't you look at your performance in the subjects all of you chose to take and then reply back if you got an A in any of those!!

  • Very proud, I hope that this happens to me as well congradulations.

  • How many cocks did she have to suck?

  • @roB3rnd

    lol your jealous :)

  • I wonder how many instructor's dicks she had to suck; being cock or pussy.

  • Wow, I'm impressed. Such a great inspiration!

  • It's funny because when she laughs after she explains about the calculus exam, she sounds like she's gone mad from all the pressure.

  • A grade grabber. Wonderful. Took a bunch of easy classes and benefitted from grade inflation. Try that at MIT.

  • That is something to be proud of indeed.

I am not trying to subjugate her accomplishment, but I do want to point out that there are strategies to getting a 4.0 gpa.

People will sometimes take the easiest classes possible in a relatively easy major for example. Now if she was a Physics or something like that, then she would be my new hero :)

  • @

Who says psychology is easy? Have you taken it?

  • 4.0 at harvard and she's working at blockbuster...welcoem to the new economy folks... :(

  • Well done girl! I'm inclined to agree with osyrus99, but still this is quite an accomplishment.

  • that's very impressive, but...

why was she only taking calculus during senior year?

In additon, her diploma says cum laude. That does NOT look as good as the Summa Cum Laude on my diploma. :)

  • This almost convinced me to stop telling blonde jokes.

  • @MusicalPiano100 The keyword here is 'almost' ;)

  • Very impressive indeed, however, I doubt she can manage a 4.0 at Berkeley, Caltech or MIT.

  • @osyrus99 You can't compare them in any way whatsoever.

  • @osyrus99 nuff said.

  • @osyrus99

    or GT ;)

  • @osyrus99 The girl just got a 4.0 at Harvard.....She has a shot though.

  • @osyrus99 berkeley and caltech are more prestigious than harvard? never heard of that before

  • @bree2496

you've never heard of berkeley competition then

Berkeley is 100x more difficult than Harvard

Harvard is harder to get INTO, but once you're there, you're treated like a god/goddess, smaller class sizes and more attention

If you work super hard to get INTO berkeley, the only fate you're going to meet is a nice and slow 4-year ass wooping. you have to FIGHT for attention

Competition within Berkeley is one of the most notorious in the entire nation.

    And same goes for caltech

  • @hkpopfan4lif3

Harvard is nothing to sneeze at. But you are correct. Cal Tech & Berkeley are very tough.

  • @bree2496

There are schools outside of the East Coast. Cal Tech & Berkeley are 2 of the best in the land.

  • @osyrus99 caltech or MIT yes, not berkeley. uchicago puts berkeley to shame in terms of rigor.

  • Yes she would be able too. She has something that a lot of people don't. That thing is self-motivation.

  • lol "work hard a LITTLE bit"

  • Good for her, but honestly only six have accomplished this since 1982? If this girl is the best and breatest of one of the top schools, I must be Einstein.

  • Do you go to Harvard?

  • @jason101other

What the hell is "breatest," Einstein? Very bright you are indeed.

  • Ok, I don't mean to be underplaying her accomplishment. But , honestly...Shouldn't they at least consider the classes she took.

Intro to Psych, Christian Revolution, Expository Writing, Sigmund Freud...I mean WTF!!! Could those classes get anymore..challenging?

But people like hearing about success stories. Specially success stories about pretty college girl! ;)

  • 4.0 in asskissing nice:)

  • i wish they would actually have interviewed her in depth! gosh! Who cares about blockbuster? Ask the girl some questions about how she got there. jesus

  • Right on!

  • OWNED. HAHA. GREAT =)

  • Awesome congrats!
