@jack001122 You're basing this off of what? Stock for stock the Skyline wins, but honestly nobody leaves an MR2 Turbo or a Skyline stock, so without knowing the modification background on both vehicles it's asinine to speculate.
putting stiffer springs on a car will not help it be less bouncy it will make it worse, i have a buddy who put lowering springs on him sunfire and did nothing but give it a horrible ride, after riding in his car it makes my pt cruiser feel like a fuckin cadillac
@RACErocker Well I suppose springs isn't the answer but coilovers.. Stiff springs make your ride hurt when you hit bumps, but when you drag race, it doesn't affect your shifting as bad as smoother riding springs (at least from my experience). Then again, to be fair, I am not much of a drag racer. I like canyons and such.
Oh man two of my fav cars. R33 is one of my, if not the #1, favorite RWD car. I give the looks and track performance to the mr2 but speed and power potential + engine/exhaust sound go to the R33. My favorite sounding cars of any produced:
95+ supra
RB26DETT Skyline
Ferrari (pretty much any)
Back to looks, there isn't a car that comes close to an mr2, especially if you consider price and year. The car just has a timeless design, sit a stock 95 body on 16-17 inch wheels and let the beauty ensue.
The skyline is a beautiful machine and so is the MR2 I'd love to own either car. The MR2 is a beast in the curves, but a straight drag really isn't its forte.
i started out loving the rx7fd then i switched to the skyline and found out my heavy demand for torque is met by the skylines inline 6 compared to the rotary rocket.
rare footage of a skyline beating a mr2, as normally the MR2 beats the skyline.

seems to me that the MR2 fluffed a gearchange (into 2nd). I reckon the MR2 is the faster car (I have a non-turbo, and it's still quick)

damn MR2 was catchin' up

The MR2 looks to have very bad suspension, perhaps needs new shocks and more stiff springs... Bouncing around like that can cost you.
