Does the Command 8 have the automation buttons right on the surface like the 003? Or do you still have to go through to each channel in Pro Tools. Not that its a big deal. I was just curious.
im between buying the mackie control and the command 8. i liked that you can expand the mackie but i know that every feature in pro tools will work with the command 8. what do u recommend
concerning this console, i have a question: I saw some pictures of it but I didn't see any input for instruments (1/4" Jack or Xlr) so, I was wondering if it has some. For 1300, it seems expansive for a console just for mixing in analog...
@maxohpne It's not an interface, it's a control surface. Think of it as the best mouse you'll ever own. Totally worth it if you want the 'feel' of analogue... but can't afford a stupid amount for a decent mixing desk. Also uses Focusrite stuff in it... worth it for that too!
@WhaleBlueTwentyTwo I'd say the C|24 would be the best mouse haha. This video is pretty cool but you're going to burn out your faders fucking around like that. Vegas Mode is the worst thing for a console.

No- the Command 8 is a control surface, whereas the MBox is an interface. They work with each other.
