The best way to combat the mainstream media from taking over the Internet is to buy music/movies/magazines/newspapers only from alternative media like Thinkfilm, Lionsgate, Weinstein etc. and sell/trade any DVDs and CDs you have from the big 6 media conglomerates. What foreign oil company? OPEC is still the largest controller of the oil flowing from the Middle East, and the bulk of it comes from Saudi Arabia. As far as the western occupier, America does not want to hold any country. It's a democracy, Britain is still one of the few imperialistic nations that holds onto countries that don't want/need them. (Canada, Ireland are examples.) And the bombs are not dropped on the major cities as well. Bombings have not been going on for quite a while.

About the oil companies, currently about 80% of Iraq's oil production is being used to purchase imported western products. Or that is what we're being told, but you can already guess who got those contracts. The rest is being used for the US military machine in Iraq.
