About a week ago I finally snapped due to stress and tension with a friend of mine and I cut myself. For some reason i thought it would make the emotional pain vanish, but it didn't. @Sicw1thit unfortunately a lot of what you are saying is true but it is a problem on both sides of the spectrum... however some of the artists are not just "White" but come from other ethnic backgrounds such as Latino...
@Sicw1thit It is about the style of music and format NOT the color of skin. There are a few black Christian artists who are into the contemporary to alternative music style, but not many. Most would fall into a gospel style or something else and that is not KLOVE or Air1's format.

i am 29 and i am going though a hard time with my family. i have been beat down my hole life from them and finly i have broke all ties with them. i love this song b/c i have asked god to take my pain away and never has. my friend told me that i need to start beliveing that good can take it away and i started listen to christan music and went to church i have always been under wight and in 3 weeks i have gained 15 pounds and i fell like i have all the wights off me and i have to say thank you

my friend brandon gave into depression this year... they played this song at his memorial and now every time i listen to this woman's beautiful voice i think about my friend and that he is in a better place with the big guy now :) thank you ms.heller for the comfort of your lyrics bring me and im sure many others :)

@derlau she's singing about the Lord and why would she have to rip off anything from Sheryl, Christian music doesn't aspire to the secular level. It's not about that. BTW Travis Tritt had a song out several years ago called "strong enough to be your man? hmmm wonder where Sheryl got her song from?

@SoniaRose71 she can be singing to the devil for all I care and you cannot deny both melodies are almost identical. Music has always been about recycling the old and making it better. "Your Hands" is really a good song. No need to get all insecure and defend christian music. Like you said, "she's singing to the Lord", my comment shouldn't affect you at all. BTW, Travis Tritt's "Strong Enough" was recorded in 2001 as an answer song to Sheryl Crow's 1995 "Strong Enough".

why are there never black people on this? -_- klove seems very positively and encouragingly white(from the hosts to the musicians). don't get me wrong i listen, i would just like to hear some other gods people sing. you know, the darker ones...

@Sicw1thit unfortunately a lot of what you are saying is true but it is a problem on both sides of the spectrum... however some of the artists are not just "White" but come from other ethnic backgrounds such as Latino...

@Sicw1thit It is about the style of music and format NOT the color of skin. There are a few black Christian artists who are into the contemporary to alternative music style, but not many. Most would fall into a gospel style or something else and that is not KLOVE or Air1's format.

@misskandas...Hang in there, it gets better eventually...it may not feel like it now or soon, but definitely allow God to carry you through it and when the questions that you can't find answers to, start to overwhelm you > cling to what you know to be true about His character! 'The Storm' by Downhere and 'Praise You in the Storm' by Casting Crowns are two songs that helped me get through. Blessings.

@misskandas that's awesome that music helps you calm down, me too. I am also diagnosed with bipolar, bpd, and ptsd and God is so faithful to keep me, heal me and carry me. He is right there with you and will walk you through each step as I know He has done and is still doing for me

I love this. I also love the k-love video of her "Love Me". Her and her husband sound perfect unembellished. Trust me, I usually like the full production "wall of sound". How is it that me, a mess of a sinner, can be held in the same hands that made everything? Such beautiful hands. It is because of his amazing great love that he allows me to take refuge from all evil in beautiful hands. For that reason I just simply enjoy the ride and when I feel like his hands put me down on some strange place, I never stray far from his hands so that when I am scared I run back to those beautiful hands. I love the harmonica. It sounds sad which in possibly a peculiar way I like. Solomon did say sorrow is better than laughter. JJ has a really nice voice too. I like the guitar too. Hahaha, I like everything.

@MrGamji God doesn't give gifts to unsaved people, only to those of us who are his children. A human mind is able to go so far that is why there are abilities which are not gifts. Look at secular rock bands like the Doors, or U2, Metallica for instance.
