2002 USAF B-1B Flyover at Sear Point Raceway - Sonoma, CA

By the time the High-fives and goose bumps settled, I looked out across the valley to see the 4 F-18s making the same contrail as the B-1, but I realize there were 4 in a diamond Full throttle. I felt the heat, andd about 6 beat (or 14 heartbeat) of silence after they passed the most incredible blast..

Sorry for the long story but it was pre-camera phone age and this is the only version i can find.

Race was good. I've been to 6.

This camera angle does not do justice to one of the most incredible flyovers ever. I grew up in Lemoore, home of the flyover... I was in turn nine, and looking out across Napa valley, below the eyelevel of the main body of the crowd, the contrails making perfect circles around the engines.. the camera zooms tight so you lose perspective, but I could have hit them him with my beer so close.. I could have counted to 4 before the BOOM caught up..
