My best to the parents of Dylan. My 17 1/2 year old daughter has been fighting osteosarcoma since April 11, 2009. She is an award winning filmmaker for her documentary film "Glimpse of Horizon" and is currently co-directing a feature film of her battle in the work in progress "The Reggie Project" on facebook.

That's one of the issues with chemotherapy. It does a lot of damage (depending on the patient) to the liver. My father has cancer in his liver, so his liver is practically nonexsistant at this point. My uncle died of bone marrow cancer, my mother has breast cancer, my cousin died of cancer in her lungs, spine, and marrow in april, and numerous other family members have suffered through cancer. Needless to say, I have to keep up on my screenings due to the freqeuency it carries in my genetics.

Dylan had a rare form of bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. They do not know what causes it but it happens to kids during a heavy growth time. Dylan had his first symptom of pain 1 year before the cancer took his life. It is a dreadful cancer with nery little chance of a cure once it spreads.

We miss Dylan, he was the best kid ever!!!

Thankyou for your comments. Im sorry to say Dylan lost his battle with cancer. He went into liver failure from the strong chemo they used for his stem cell transplant.
