My best to the parents of Dylan. My 17 1/2 year old daughter has been fighting osteosarcoma since April 11, 2009. She is an award winning filmmaker for her documentary film "Glimpse of Horizon" and is currently co-directing a feature film of her battle in the work in progress "The Reggie Project" on facebook.
Thankyou for your reguards. Watching your daughters video was a flash back for us, their treatments were so similar. Dylans videos meant so much to us a gift and legacy he has left behind. Such a blessing that your daughter is doing so well. Dylan underwent stem cell treatment after his prothetic femur surgery and the chemo put him in liver failure that he never recovered from/ We miss him everyday but are grateful for the time we had with him...God Bless to you and your daughter. Carole Crane
Dont know if your daughter knows about another filmaker by the name of Cameron Duncan from NewZealand. His video is featured on disc 3 of the extended version of Lord of The Rings under the "Into the West" extra features.
Wow, Dylan .... i just now saw this. You are so brave and so beautiful. Please tell me you are Ok in June 2010. I do not even know you and I love you still.
The cure for cancer has been known and suppressed for decades. The Cure for Cancer is NOT consuming the poisons that CAUSE cancer, and, instead, consuming a tremendous amount of freshly juiced raw organic fruits and vegetables. watch?v=E0CzvhPU5q4 Google Dr. Richard Schulze
Come on ! surley theres a better way then this stupid chemo shit! LIke killing poison with another poison is not the way! Its the same reason why nictone patches dont work to help stop smoking! R.I.P Little buddy ! your a solider i tip my hat to you!
This is a super touching video. Its reasons like this i recorded my cancer song, to help people like this get through the struggles they face everyday. Im glad your fighting strong! Check out the video in my channel, i hope it touches you and helps you keep fighting.
dylan ur such an inspreation they way that u handled cemo and the positive addutude that came along with it. god bless you. and i really hope ur in a better place now <3
Dylan you are a brave young man and my thoughts and prayers are with you. I pray if I ever get bad news like that, I will be as brave as you are. God Bless & God Speed
You are an inspiration. You are so brave and so strong. And a very smart young man too. You know your medical terminologies very well :) I love that you are staying positive through out your chemo experience. You have touched my heart deeply.
apricot seeds cure all kinds of cancers..they contain high concentrations of vitamin b-17..in fact the FDA has banned the sale of apricot seeds because pharmaceutical companies give them billions of dollars to regulate it because it is in fact a cure. The ancient chinese never had cancer as they ate properly without processed foods and had vitamin b-17 in their diets.. Look into it yourself
My sister was just diagnosed wwith stage 4 lung cancer she quit smoking 7 years ago, she also has bone cancer mtastisised from her lungs in her hip, im devistated, i dont even know what to tell her to make her feel better
Thank you for making this video in Canada,Alberta,Edmonton- we have this thing called hair masacre i think that this doucumentary will help me with my decision to shave my head or not Thank you for being brave for us that don't have this problem thank you so much.
Dylan. I am 21 and I am a survivor and this shows and tells it exactly as it is. Thanks for doing this and having the strength to show the reality of cancer. Your amazing. Seriously cancer sucks but you do what you have to and you fight and survive.
Dylan passed away in June 2005 as a result of his chemo which put him in liver failure. You can learn more about Dylan and watch all of his videos at his memorial web site listed in the comments section .
That's one of the issues with chemotherapy. It does a lot of damage (depending on the patient) to the liver. My father has cancer in his liver, so his liver is practically nonexsistant at this point. My uncle died of bone marrow cancer, my mother has breast cancer, my cousin died of cancer in her lungs, spine, and marrow in april, and numerous other family members have suffered through cancer. Needless to say, I have to keep up on my screenings due to the freqeuency it carries in my genetics.
MY grandmother died from non-hodgkins lymphoma in 2006.she told us not to cry when it happens.I told her that I loved her.I did cry and I still do.I still cant believe she's gone
it's so hard to believe that someone with such a positive attitude can't fight it. sorry to hear about your loss. my dad died recently from cancer as well.
Dylan had a rare form of bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. They do not know what causes it but it happens to kids during a heavy growth time. Dylan had his first symptom of pain 1 year before the cancer took his life. It is a dreadful cancer with nery little chance of a cure once it spreads.
So Sad -- such a heartfelt and sincere offer of sympathy... gone. The better angels of our nature did not prevail, alas. EPHESIANS 4:31-32, LUKE 10:29-37 Sincerest sympathy
he was so strong. rip. xoxo <3 and to dylans mom: my grandma just died from cancer and now my mum has been diagnosed and is doing well as of now, i know how hard it is so you just have to hold on. Think of how many people he inspired and keep in contact with them as they will go on to do great things in life and this may be because of our sons inspiration he had. thankyou. xo becie 15 australia please post back
this has really touched me, my best friend died from cancer four years ago at the age off 11, he went through similar treament as dylan. The courage dylan showed was amazing, but he's in a better place now, he's out of pain.
Wow, great documentary! That is really very amazing Dylan. I will pray for you and that your cancer will stay away. In the video you say that this is "just the first part" ... is there a follow-up video?
Okay I'm a complete DORK and didn't read the other comments. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I have now watched his other videos on the website and am amazed by his strength. I will pray for your family. May God bless you.

Big Pharma killing innocents with a smile, this is a truly disgusting video. FDA, NCI, AMA protecting toxic drug pushers and their obscene profits.
