man the person directing the camera shots and fades of this video did a terrible job. The whole half fade with Chuck in the background and his powerpoint in the background half faded in is terrible. I love Chuck Missler though, my favorite teacher.
Bible says more about the restoration of the 12 tribes of israel and the Gentiles repenting to Messiah - begging to have the Messiah teach them the law of Moses (Isa 2) than all of the prophecies Chuck Missler teaches. ACCEPTING these prophecies requires "taking the Bible seriously" - Chuck would have to accept that he and all believers would need to submit to God's law as given to Moses under the reign of it's AUTHOR (Jesus Christ). Doubt we'll hear Chuck admit this.
Just my opinion, but I have come to believe that God didn't intend for past generations to understand what was written for our generation. In the 1400's people couldn't have understood the idea of powered flight. As time has gone by, we understand the Revelation more and more because of increased technology and changes in political geography and society. Now, we are at a point in time when there isn't much left to understand and wait for. The time is growing closer...much closer!
i say let the bastards kill each other..its an evil world...the faster they get to nuking the world the sooner Jesus will come back..bunch of evil bastards on this planet...bring it on..so I can go to heaven!
I think the chalenge is irrelevant because the gospel events are very much a part of prophesy, Jesus being the cornerstone of our faith, the cornerstone of prophesy. Jeremiah 50:9 is refering to Persia -- Media's surprise invasion of Babylon. It was an absolute massacre. However prophetic passages often contain parallels between ancient events and events of a very far future -- our future. Ezekiels vision alludes us to this mystery, and the book of Isaiah is laden with timeless paradoxes.
it"s a difficult book to understand. First your reading about the present in reference to when the book was written. Then you're reading about coming of the Christ followed by end time prophesies. These shifts are very subtle in the text. Its hard to follow.
dead end roads....waste of time...
