I compared it to a crap ton of other handhelds in the video. If you can't use that as a frame of reference then you can always look up the dimensions online. I don't know them off the top of my head.

i like it and i would buy it but its that one downside that made up my mind

it can't play old GBC and GB games

in my opinion the gameboy color is the way to go because it was so well know just about everyone had one and it had so many mods for it

i didn't like the GBA SP but thats because of the charger only power source (eventually i got over it after buying the DS) still though i like batteries with the charger option

Around 5 hours. If you set the screen brightness to its lowest setting and have medium volume, you get 8 hours of play. The screen is still rather bright even in its darkest setting, and you can hook headphones to the device as well. With full brightness and volume, you get about 5 hours of play. Pretty nice battery.

i have had a gameboy advance,gameboy micro, ds lite, dsi and all of those systems had poor graphic quality but the load of games made up for it. Gameboy advance sp was my first video game and i will always remember it

hey, ihave a decision,sp, or micro. i dont play gbc or gb too much, cuz im not that old. im thinking like maybe to play mother3, mother 1+2, and pokemon leaf green and emerald. and stuff like mario, zelda etc. and do flash carts work on this? because i want to have m3 and m1+2 in english? i want something more portable because i dont like to always have a thick dsi in my pocket, i want something small

I have to say this was a really nice review. Nice background music, nice video quality, and nice everything else!

-on the ds lite, the gba games doesn't fill the screen all the way and that for whatever reason really annoys me.

-my sister lost the only working sp (along w/ my classic nes legend of zelda) and at gamestop, its cheaper.

-also i like to collect things (even though the version is most likely not the famicon collectors edition)

If you can get an SP for cheaper, especially if it's the new one with the better backlit screen, then I'd go with that, but if you really want the Micro, it's definitely a good little console especially if you like to collect.

@percival369 No it isn't. Actually the micro's charger bit is unique to every other system. You can't use the micro charger with any other nintendo device.

Lol, this reminded me of Classic Game Room HD too. As silly as it seemed for Nintendo to make this, I'm beginning to see why they did it. A lot of the other Nintendo handhelds seem to bring a lot of attention to themselves with their size, which can come off as childish and embarrassing for older players such as myself. The design here looks a lot sleeker and less noticeable, a bit more like the PSP, the only drawback being lack of GB/GBC support.

i purchased one not for the purpose of a collectors item but due to its portability. i own a sp but i find i take too much notice of it in my pockets while i'm out whereas the gbm can be compared to my keys for example. a great on the go system
