  • MF DOOOOMMM !!!!!!!!

  • I like this

  • Who ever took part in creating this song could say they have created a "MasterPiece"

  • GOTTA LOVE !!

  • this songs reminds me off ' shoot 'm up movies' from mo b dick's gangsta harmony album. i think he got the beat from that one

  • @Funkdogg They actuall sampled "Shoot Em Up" from the soul group called "The Deele". It's how babyface (the producer) got his start. He and LA Reid were in this group but babyface produced the record.

  • Super dope! Exactly what's goin

  • Pure hip hop. Nuff said!

  • I was just on All Hip Hop and read about Camp Lo and Pete Rock hookin up to do an album to be released later this year. I started looking through my hard drive looking for this song. I thought I had it...and then couldn't find it on any of their CDs.. Its a shame because this song is a smash and should have been released with a video.

  • THIS is how you sample.

  • This is irrelevant to the song, but this song reminds me of when my family and me finally moved out of the hood. God is good.

  • @intelligentbw

man its all good. sometimes songs make u think of things that have nothing to do with what is being talked about in the verses. this song makes me think of my girl. we both love it and it reminds me of when we go downtown and sit by the water looking over to canada.

  • Does anyone miss this good stuff?

    :)

  • this is why i stopped rapping in 97 which is when i heard camp lo

this is it for the first time. The music business is something i didnt

understand, so i didnt put my talent on a piece of paper to miss guide me.

but picked myself up as soon as i heard camp lo. they have been inspiring me

    ever since. SCOOTER GEE

  • usually i dont give a f.... but im listening/seeing vids of Camp Lo on a playlist and i see in all their vids there always 2 or 3 votes down....just pure hating takes people to push that button on tracks like this... Camp Lo is Hip Hop Love

  • I wish all hip-hop was like this

  • doesn't 9th wonder use this sample for a little brother track too?

  • MF DOOM FTW!!!

  • one of my favorite Camp Lo songs. loooove em. I always catch myself singing the hook.

  • "Red & Gold" by MF Doom

  • alchemist used this sample on noyd's second album too. one of the best samples i've heard in a while

  • Tyler Woods iz singing the shit out this hook!!!!! A hip hop love song for real!!!!

"...I don't question love as long as you answer...."

    Beautiful lyrics....

  • does anyone know where I can get the lyrics to this song. I can't find them anywhere. =(

  • Tyler Woods is a talented artist...the hook made the song! He has a voice that will charm any lady...he certainly charmed me

  • Always be legendary for me & mine for Luchini & Swing!

    Hip-hop Eternalist

  • to me it sounds like 9th produced this track

  • old heads camp lo make that good hip hop music

  • this song is on the stone and rob album. they finally got that sampled cleared!

  • didn't MF Doom use this sample?

  • Yes

  • man if anybody can please zshare this shit and send me the link i'll give you a dollar. i had it then my computer deleted all my music. life can be so fucking cruel.

  • well i got the song on a cd they have out called "Rob and Stone Caught On Tape" I do believe that's the name of the album. I got this past weekend at best buy.

  • What album is this song on?? Cant find the sh*t, this is the joint!

  • It's fom Let's Do It Again

  • no its not cause I got that album

  • It only exists as a very rare white label promo single

  • Is there anyway I can download it or purchase it?

  • vdownloader you can download it right off of youtube

  • @UnknownsDarkSide Actually its off of Stone and Rob Caught on tape

  • Unfortunately, this song isn't on ANY album. Turns out that Ski (producer) couldn't clear the sample, from what i understand. There is a Gotcha on Let's do it again, but that's the original version. This is the remix, and it's the more popular of the two versions. Unfortunately, industry politics stopped this record from being as large as it should have been. This shit is genius, and Ski shows what a dope producer he is.

  • Oh shit, I didn't know that. I remember hearing this song on the radio and I thought this was on the album. My bad.

  • Man, niggas are FIENDIN' for this shit, but the politics got in the way. Unfortunately, Shootem' up Movies has a fucked up publisher who wouldn't clear the sample. That bullshit happens A LOT!

Good example: Dreams, from Game. The Heart Remix of that joint is fuckin' ridiculous. You can't find that shit anywhere, because thte sample couldn't get cleared. It's straight bootleg, and even that's impossible to find.

  • shit like that just blows my day... damn

  • the producer of the record is jocko this is he .....contact me if u like i will set the record straight

  • Oh yea? Speak then. I just downloaded this joint from the Stone and Rob release on Itunes...and still got fucked over. Da fuck man? The last verses were left off so we're left with this truncated version of the shit we've been waiting for. So please, explain this shit!!!

  • @desertdetroiter It's now been released on "Stone & Rob Caught on Tape"

  • @stan2000 Yea...i finally found the real version with all the verses. I had to limewire the shit, but i see it finally hit ITUNES. Thanks anyway, though.

  • @desertdetroiter This song is a sample from the Deele a group that Babyface was in back in the day, I guess they couldn't get permission to use the sample, this is still my jam, wish I could put it on my mp3 though!!!!

  • @mjada2000 Yep..."Shoot'em Up Movies."

  • @desertdetroiter This was actually produced by Jocko

  • @MTRIFE nah it was produced by Ski

  • @musicizgood That's what I thought. Until I was in the studio with 9th Wonder and I was asking him about his Tyler Woods mixtape he put together which had this joint on it and he was talking about how this joint was the only one on the mixtape that he didn't produce. Jocko did. I haven't seen the liner notes but 9th was in that session so if he says Jocko produced it I believe him over what it says on the cover.
