I saw a Parlophone reissue of Sgt. Pepper a few days ago at the Musical Collectables record show in Mississauga. It was only $15, but I already spent my whole budget and as a result I wasn't able to afford it. DAMN!!! It's a real shame because the North American versions on Capitol and Apple didn't include the chatter in the inner groove along with the dog tone that precedes it.

@k0stil Yeah, the American pressings don't have it. Look for a Parlophone pressing. They're kinda rare, though.

pretty nice copy you have here sounds pretty clean. i have the original parlophone vinyl, its been played a lot but its in pretty good condition for its age

I'm guessing the reason the inner groove thing isn't on the American version of the album is because Capitol Records executives thought it was too bizarre. They didn't care that it was one of the "Paul is dead" clues. They felt it had to go.
