@Nando85ec you can run your coax cable through a grounding block and then make sure that block is grounded to a grounding rod. Cable companies do it to their lines all the time.
@Miester187 Read the comment of the person who post the video. Wood poles will ''warp, twist, shrink and bend'' if this happen the satellite dish could point somewhere else in the future. If that happens you will have to set again the direction to the satellite.
I'd like to know how to ground a satellite dish line (coaxial). I had cable tv long time ago and received a discharge that blasted my tv, vhs, cable receiver... Anyone?
I say the customer didn't want to pay for the pole mount and instead told the tech to install in there.
