You can't really compare HNK to DBZ in terms of who would beat up who. In DBZ even the weakest characters like Yamcha can kill 90% of the people on earth without batting an eye if they wanted to.
Not to mention yeah, in DBZ even season 1 Vegeta can BLOW UP PLANETS.

fortunately GT was not made by the original author therefore most considered it non-canon, most of GT was horrible in reality (HnK2 was pretty bad as well, only thing that kind of redeems it for me is it had decent "boss" fights, and ein and shachi were good characters)
power levels are usually measured by: speed, destructive capacity, strength, endurance, techniques and intelligence is also important, but sometimes being smart isnt enough

In Souten No Ken, Kasumi Kenshiro dodges machinegun fire from point-blank not only himself one, but carrying ordinary human on itself. And HNK Kenshiro is way above Kasumi.
Kenshiro was completely invisible in battle with Amiba. Amiba is other Hokuto master, thus far from being an ordinary human.

I think Ken would win about dragon ball period ( before Super Sayan chapter ).
But don't forgot Goku is a kind of alien. So his body isnt the same than a human.
Im fan of both series.

@druchane Yeah when it comes to Story North Star definitely puts DBZ to shame. Wasn't a single villain who wasn't a coward in DBZ, they all ran when they feared they were gonna lose. Friggin Shin leaped to his own Death cause he didn't wanna die by Ken's hand. A DBZ Viallain would have ran off and come back stronger (Somehow) and it would have taken 4 or 5 more tries to kill them.
Ken gets the job done quickly and moves on to kill more people. Ken wouldn't have let Frieza leave Namek, No Mercy.

@laahah1 I don't think most DBZ fans consider the movies to be officially part of the story (Except the Bardock movie) but I can't swear to that. So I didn't include them.
Buu ran from Gohan and hid so he could absorb Gotenks and Piccolo. Frieza fled Namek cause Goku decided it's cool to show mercy to a guy whose kill count is probably in the trillions due to how many planets he's blown up. Kenshiro doesn't even let people with 1 kill get away, Goku is too soft.

You can't really compare HNK to DBZ in terms of who would beat up who. In DBZ even the weakest characters like Yamcha can kill 90% of the people on earth without batting an eye if they wanted to.
Not to mention yeah, in DBZ even season 1 Vegeta can BLOW UP PLANETS.
They're made by different writers and from different eras

In Souten No Ken, Kasumi Kenshiro dodges machinegun fire from point-blank not only himself one, but carrying ordinary human on itself. And HNK Kenshiro is way above Kasumi.
Kenshiro was completely invisible in battle with Amiba. Amiba is other Hokuto master, thus far from being an ordinary human.
