You aren't supposed to PULL on the cord to get the placenta..it is supposed to get done pulsating and then slide out on its own, a few minutes later when it's ready..see, they pull it to soon and then the mother has more bleeding and possibly compilations like hemorrhaging, its so important to let your own body do the work on the afterbirth.
