  • I thought @stefbot was against Ron Paul? What happened?

  • @Sillyace92

Stef isn't against any "man"...just the principles of that "man"

This is a video to Ron Paul supporters...its not his philosophy, nor does he support the State / Ron Paul.

He is merely explaining in a more rational way how Ron Paul supporters can "get him elected"...rather than these same people trolling websites posting "Ron Paul 2012" and "End the Fed"...people are so ignorant, they have no idea what any Ron Paul supporter is talking about.

  • Close to a million Iraqis civilians have been injured or died in occupied Iraq since the last Gulf War. Who control the oil?

Iran next. Who will control Iranian oil ?

So that part of the argument, he is totally correct about the lives at risk.

But Americans still need to understand the risks of Total Government like the one that took over Germany in order to wage the last World War.

  • Unfortunately there are alot of people that believe in these wars and drug wars and think that we have to kill people because they're out to get us because they hate our american-ness.

  • I love this however, he was so apathetic about Ron Paul not too long ago...What happened to him to support Ron now? I'm glad he is changing his tune in any case. Way to go Stefan!

  • If I was Ron Paul I'd use Stefan's own techniques displayed here to get Stefan to talk for him on a TV debate

  • One of your best, Stef!

  • Looks like you've had a change of heart since 2007 when you were telling everyone that voting for Ron Paul was counter-productive to the cause of liberty, and a waste of time and resources.

Glad you've finally on board! Welcome!

  • Can anyone give me a reason to vote for someone other than Ron Paul? I just can't find any.... so, why are people voting for puppets? People are so uneducated :(

  • I love most of your material and I send much love but I am sorry Stef but I could never vote for a candidate who doesn't even accept the scientific theory of evolution, that is not a trivial matter. Besides, I live in the UK, peace out.

  • @Feddyfreak So IF it came down between Dr. Paul and Hitler, you vote for Hitler?

  • @steve0281 Sorry I don't follow you. I guess I could respond by saying: when did I ever say that understanding evolution was the only critea I would base my vote on, it is just one of the many boxes they have to tick. Also there is no evidence that Hitler understood evolution at all, therefore failing in my personal 'check list', however it is evident that he believed in a unscientific psuedo-science called eugenics. I hope that answered your question.

  • @Feddyfreak Hitler was a proponent of Darwinian evolution. The historical record is quite clear on this, though this little factlet has been downplayed by evolutionists. He was also a proponent of eugenics, which he saw as "helping" evolution along, as did many in the US did before him. From what I understand, there are no avowed Darwinists in the mix of the US election on either side of the election. That being the case that severely limits your options for supportable candidates.

  • @steve0281 I would very much like to see this historical record, I am fascinated. So you believe that there is a conspiracy theory, that "evoloutioniststs" which is 97% of the world's scientists, have downplayed this 'fact'. Again I would love to see the evidence you produce to show this, as you say there is plenty of material to show that Hitler supported eugenics, like the holocausts and of course persons like Spencer also loved the misinterpretations of Darwin. BTW I live in the UK

  • @Feddyfreak Nice try. First, ditch the logical fallacies. What is the definition of "eugenics"? "The self direction of human evolution". That means there is an implicit, if not explicit, acceptance of Darwinism. I'm not stupid. I have attended grad schools in Korea, the US, and the UK. Arguments against the Darwin-Hitler connection are mere word games because people don't like what it means. When it is pointed out, people get indignant, but that's not a defense.

  • @steve0281 I am not going to be tied to definitions and be led down the straw man path, defintions change all the time. Simply, eugenics is a evidenceless artifical selection process whereas natural selection is a natural process backed with firm evidence. Whether for good or ill you must accept it but that does not mean you have to live by it's values, science shows us what is true not how to live our lives. The link between Darwin-Hitler is because of these misinterpreations.

  • @Feddyfreak So, if we all followed your example and not tie ourselves to definitions of words, then they can mean anything that we want them to? So then MY definition of a word is every bit as valid as YOUR definition of the same word. How is that even a basis of any sort of rational discourse? A person doesn't like the logical conclusion, changes the definition, and then accuses the logical thinker of being illogical? WHAT???

  • @steve0281 I think you are too ready to do battle, you must see the difference between a definition and the meaning of words. Try not to jump to the conclusion that words can take on any meaning via someones preference otherwise, language would be completely irrational. Taking this descriptivist approach you can even realise that there is a clear distinction between Darwinism and Social Darwinism. Although they are under the same heading, eugenics is an incorrect application of it.

  • @Feddyfreak I'm very familiar with the concepts of words, definitions, meanings, et al. What I am seeing here is a couching the definition/meaning of words in ways that benefits the user. This happens a lot. Take for instance the terms "cult", "terrorism", and "pornography". What it breaks down to is that a cult is a religion that someone else doesn't like, terrorism is tactics someone else doesn't like and pornography is literature someone else doesn't like.

  • @steve0281 Good, so you must understand that there is not an existing debate over evolution and it's various terms. Until an opposing case is put forward with extremely supportive evidence then it's meaning and defintion will continue relatively unchanged. Seen as though there is a strong case against Hitler's and Spencer's application of it, because their version had no factual backing, then it is defined as opinion not a fact, they mean different things. Science has no bias!

  • @Stefbot 8:13

When people are driven beneath the means of sustaining life, especially when they have the means to communicate and organize, a revolution becomes inevitable, and any attempt to crush one with a massacre or starve one out will only fan the flames, the poor will not suffer a slow death in an age of technology.

You're frightened that your wealth is threatened, but you care nothing for the plight of the poor. What you want would crush the poor. Change is needed, but not your change.

  • @Stefbot the critical flaw in capitalism is that the more successful a business is, the more the money gets taken out of circulation, appreciating the value of the wealth held by the elite, but eventually bringing the economy to a grinding halt as dollars become dimes, dimes become pennies, & then collapse, all the while the vast pools of surplus labor increasingly desperate for work, allowing business owners to worsen conditions for everyone to their profit.

    Hoarding eventually causes collapse

  • @Laughingblades

    whats your solution exactly?

that people should just spend shit instantly so theres no saving whatsoever?

  • This video is good, I personally am not voting, if you were being sincere I may have been persuaded to vote, but the gilt trip that you tell people to pull is just ridiculous... "I know we're you stand, and I know where our relationship stands..." just because I'm not voting for Ron Paul doesnt mean a person isnt my friend, but if this person gets so butthurt about me not voting for Paul then this person obviously isnt worth being friends with.

  • With the voter fraud going on last night I'm afraid the time may be passing where we can do this with our ballots. Further actions must be taken.

  • I did everything I could to get Ron Paul elected in '08 - more than anyone else in Colorado. I learned that the system is rigged and that it was a waste of time.

  • @MoneyIsSilver My feelings exactly

  • Like does Ron Paul ever talk about the AMA and the artificial barriers to entry into the medical field? And I wonder how many baby boys' penises he mutilated.

  • @GhostOfMisterRogers He's an OBGYN, so uh... none.

  • @scottleeBCT they do them.

    boards(.)straightdope(.)com /sdmb/archive/index(.)php/t-301547(.)html

  • @GhostOfMisterRogers

But admittedly I wasn't sure if they did or not when I wrote my original comment.

  • THANK YOU .

  • The entire system needs to be changed on soooo many levels. The abolishment of the federal reserve is definitely the start of a better future I fully agree with you stef. In order for this machine to stop working the many parts and cogs that make it run need to be dismantled bit by bit.

  • The destruction of native fauna and flora is a vital aspect also that is created by our consumption patterns and the corporations wasteful practices. The corproate fascist dictatorship needs to be overthrown also. Meaningful jobs need to be created and not the meaningless jobs that are destructive on so many levels and contribute to a criminal system. Every person or unit that contributes is perpetutaing the problems of unequal wealth distribution and rape and pillaging of our world around us.

  • I think that the line in the sand about friendships makes a lot of sense. There is really a point where you need to know where your friendships really stand.

  • If America fails , Freedom dies here and no one has ANYWHERE to run.

  • Thanks for sharing. Great. Passion and conviction equals greatness.

  • The Death Metal God approves. This is one of your best videos, Stefan! :D

  • what happened to The Truth About Voting...

  • @rodrigodet

So you would rather go hide under a rock? We must make tyrants show their true colors.

  • Thanks Stefan

  • Statism is dead and if Ron Paul gets elected so is he.

The idea that if Ron Paul gets in power all this highly invested corrupt people are just going to sit there while he takes their power away is absurd.

  • I was a Romney supporter in 2008 and went on to support McCain in the general election. Over the past four years I started to question my views on the war. I supported going into Iraq, but I never thought that it would take this long and cost so much. I decided that it was time to come home and found Ron Paul who agreed with my conservative economic views but wanted to bring the troops home. Now I consider myself a conservative libertarian.

    RON PAUL 2012

  • Don't live in america, sorry but i care :)

  • In all honesty, although I would often watch your videos none of them really grabbed me, until now.

GREAT JOB! THANK YOU! AND I CARE!

    God bless my friend.

  • Not if the elections are rigged.

  • As inspiring as this video is stef, isn't this a complete 360 on the video you did on "The truth about Voting" watch?v=igbBItLemsM

  • @Kamiklees I think you're being a little dishonest here, or maybe you really don't understand.

This was in context towards the last election cycle where Mccain was vs Obama, and Ron Paul wasn't in the picture.

In fact he believes that Ron Paul can change the system by introducing sound money, and basically fixing almost every aspect of what's broken, but ultimately change begins with you. Also, his message was really about the system, Carlin said the same. They are all inline with each other.

  • @1cyanideghost Unless RP abolishes taxes there won't be any deep philosophical change. The root of political problems begins with "give me your property or die" and all of the other fixes might be steps in the right direction but sometimes they still hide the real issue.

  • In a video from porcfest you said that it is futile to support Ron Paul, that the 'from the belly of the beast' approach will not work. Is there something that has convinced you otherwise? As a voter split between Dr. Paul and Bill Still, I am just wondering.

  • @RagaDagga I'm wondering the same thing.

  • @twilightawakening Right?!? Hey Stef, what's with the sudden bout of political enthusiasm?

  • @RagaDagga Your snide comment doesn't enhance the conversation.

  • @RagaDagga

Notice that he did preface this video by saying that this was for those who ardently believe that Ron Paul is our best hope. Not that he necessarily believes it himself.

I am going to support Ron Paul in 2012, because there really is no other viable option, but I know what it's like to be fooled by a lying politician. I honestly don't believe that Paul will get the Republican nomination, but that he is bringing this message to the masses is incredible still.

  • @Caturdayz I must have been making my toast during the preface. I know how cool it is that Dr. Paul seems to be so close to a major party nomination, but I think I might be starting to like Bill Still a little more.

I would really like to see a conversation between the two. Not an interview, not a debate, just footage of the two tossing ideas around.

  • Stefan seems to think that every one who supports political action sees political action as the way to "set us free". I don't think politics will get us to a free society at all, but I do think it can temporarily weaken the governments choke hold on us in present time. It is just one tool we can use to defend our selves. Political action is more like puting up a shield, not swinging the sword against the government.

  • This is a speech Dr. Paul should do

  • Stefan's pitch sounds a lot like George Bush when he said... "If you're not with us, you're with the terrorists."

Here's a different approach: "Hi friend, what's up? Bored? Me too. Hey, here's an idea. I think today is "voting day" or some shit like that. So check it out... what if we go down to the polling station and see how many people we can convince to vote for the one guy nobody thinks can win. We can video tape the whole thing and put it up on Youtube. It'll be a huge hit. Let's go."

  • I don't think that voting matters any more....'It's Not the People Who Vote that Count; It's the People Who Count the Votes' - Joseph Stalin

  • America is toast. I hate what it has become. If RP doesn't get the nomination, I will be voting for the Kenyan in Chief. Why beat around the bush at that point. I'll do what I can t help put it down like the sick diseased dog that it now is. 1984

  • Freaking hell - Are u serious? Voting for this nutjob? This creationists, homophone, racist nutter just because he holds the same ideological position as yourself - which ideology is in fact a non-workable barbaric and unhuman political bondage? You cannot be serious!

  • If you don't vote Ron Paul, you will be responsable that the usa has failed and you and your family will be slaves forever!! YOU ARE RESPONSEABLE !

  • @Automat1kkk BUY A DICTIONARY!

  • Bää bää bä, bää bää bää. Bäääää!

  • @stefbot Stefan, if I were American I would be there. Great vid.

  • You speak the TRUTH my good man !!!

  • Stefbot Is just another Government loving whore, Ron Paul is not your friend DRINK THE KOOL AID FANBOYS, STEF IS LYING TO YOU ABOUT RONNY.

  • Is this for real ?

  • powerfull speech, using himself as leverage but who can blame him, at least its straightforward

  • Sounds a little bit like emotional blackmail...

  • @twilightawakening Bullshit !!! He is trying to awaken the dumbed down masses..Of which you seem to be one !

  • @sandsifter149 Threatening to cut off a relationship unless someone does what you want them to do is emotional blackmail. And for stef to make an argument for voting when he thinks the system is inherently evil and based on force makes no sense. Also you are genuinely a piece of shit for posting such a useless insult.

  • @twilightawakening You seem to be a vial bit of crap that I would not piss on if it was on fire because you seem to think that all people who vote have a rational thinking process that is fundamentally flawed..Yes..The VOTING process is flawed and also rigged..just look at the electronic voting methods in some states FFS !!!

You My evil piece of SHIT are Emotionally bankrupt and Morally VOID !!

  • Comment removed

  • I think this is an absolutely brilliant application of rational philosophy. Bravo.

  • It is personally embarrassing to have a truth thrown out at me in such a logical and passionate way. I've posted this in a Ron Paul Facebook group.

  • This video creeps me out a bit. I have watched so many videos of Stef. berating the idea of voting and political action, I find it hard to take this seriously. Something tells me he has something up his sleeve.

  • You made a good point. what changed your mind? From telling everyone Just dont vote.. I do understand. You have opened my mind about alot of things . But when I thought of all the wast when I used to vote...... But Ron Paul was differant, I was going to wast a little more time and vote one more time.

  • @thestonemaster81 He said "if you really believe ron paul ... then". He certainly doesn't share that belief, he's just talking hypothetically. Indeed he says somewhere "you know my opinion on political action" which means that he hasn't changed his mind.

  • 1:40 "This is going to save the lives literally of hundreds of thousands of people." PolitiFact check? How sure can we be that this is true? If we can be confident that it is a reasonable guess, imagine the influence of the message to non-Paul supporters if Paul said the following and PolitiFact rated it as true:

"As President of the United States I will bring home all the troops and end imperialism and foreign wars. This is going to save the lives literally of hundreds of thousands of people."

  • Very intense. Yet, Ron Paul is a creationist, he denies the theory of evolution. If he got that wrong, how could I ever have any trust in the rest his brain produces as output? It's like when you did the video on Starwars and Harry Potter. It has forever lowered my trust in your output on the stuff I have no clue about. One need some authorities in life on subjects one lacks knowledge about. And my authorities won't be people who can make such bad judgements on issues I know something about.

  • @HKragh I'm an atheist and I find the ideas, presented in this video and by Ron Paul concerning the non-aggression principal and the drug war, completely sound. Cast your vote, not for Ron Paul, but for me.

  • @HKragh

    >how could I ever have any trust in the rest his brain produces as output?

It's simple. Don't go by what candidates say. (Look how well that worked with Obama!) Go by what they DO. Just look at Ron Paul's voting record in Congress. He didn't get any of that wrong! I'm an atheist too and I now believe that voting is immoral (selecting a master for others), but Ron Paul is the only master and ruler that would actually improve our lives and the lives of our children.

  • @HKragh "I ever have any trust"

Compared to WHAT? Any of the others?

Call it a handicap if you want. Still, he has managed to function just fine for decades. Gets dressed in the morning, feeds himself, all the things normal people do. Better on most counts. Married for decades. A career as a doctor. Delivered thousands of babies.

Has a consistent political track record. The best known predictor of human behavior is past behavior.

Discounting him on one flaw is irrational.

  • @jeffiek But that is the one flaw which tells me most about his mindset. 1) It tells me he's irrational, the one thing america needs the most. 2) He denies the scientific method in its principle.

Whatever he says from here on, on subjects I have no knowledge about (namely how you get a country going, and how to take care of economics), well, how will I be able to trust they have any validity?

  • @HKragh Nonsense. YOU are the one being irrational. I don't know, but suspect, that you're really afraid of LIBERTY ( not that I think Paul can bring it about ) and that you're looking for an excuse, any excuse to avoid that.

"how to take care of economics" - even to the point of using your ignorance as an excuse.

Are you actually going to trust the well-known liars in politics? The ones that are destroying the economy? Even when Paul has a track record of honesty?

  • @jeffiek He could be the most honest man ever to walk this Earth. That doesn't make the ideas he has about how to fix the country, any more valid. I'm sure he is honest. I'm just not sure a person who believes Evolution to be false has a very good judgement as to what constitudes good ideas. And I meant what I say. There are many things I'm very ignorant about. And I seek knowledgable authorities to fill those gaps. But I need some signs those authorities has a general sense of good ideas.

  • Bottom line vote for Ron Paul! Give him a chance...kinda like we did with Nobama, but Paul will work out that's the difference. Obama doesn't even want to be reelected

  • at one time i hated this guy! but the more i open my mind the more he makes sense.

  • @manicgermanic1975 LOL, I wonder if you are a sockpuppet transformed into a sensible humanbeing thru the power of logic.

  • @manicgermanic1975 its ironic that a few years he said

that it would be anarchy in the streets if ron paul was elected

  • The collectivism of the fabian socialists is what enslaves us. Individual liberty and freedom for all is what combats tyranny. A vote for anyone other than Paul is a vote for war, tyranny, theft and social engineering.

  • Thank you so much. You have no idea just how much people as myself who still have an unfounded faith on democracy, appreciate this.

  • @JulesManson that just sounds stupid

  • I am very dissapointed that I will not be able to vote for Ron Paul. Having my 18th birthday 14 days after the election takes place is quite possibly the worst feeling in the world.

  • @BigBearBrady you can still try to make a difference and influence others

  • @BigBearBrady Don't let that keep you from raising awareness to those who are eligible to vote! ;)

  • Lol. Isn't this the same Stefan Molyneux who in a previous video of his called ' The Truth about voting' encouraged people not to partcipate in voting ???? now hes begging people to vote for somebody who he wants to be voted in ?? while stroking his own ego saying things like ' i have run succesful companies' and ' i started the most popular philosophy show in the world '

This man has shown himself to be nothing more than a confused ego maniac with seriously double minded views.

  • @oceanbreeze4433 um, if you listen to what he actually says, he clearly says "IF, you believe in the political process, THEN, this is how you go about getting Dr. Paul elected."

so to sum it up, you fail.

  • @oceanbreeze4433 I can't help but agree.

  • The very thought of voting for some Free Market Religionist, or in fact voting at all, makes me laugh immensely. I consider Stefan and most of you to be Anarchist scum. Individualized, locusts consuming precious resources, oblivious to the collectivist reality needed to achieve victory over the System Masters.

Continuing this monetary, private property, enslavement game feeds the beast you fight. This video is another naive and mediocre attempt to preserve that delusion.

  • @MattSyTy If you had seen Stefan's other videos you would know that he has made some very convincing arguments against voting. Since there always will be people who disagree and decide to vote for Ron Paul then why not give them some helpful advice how to persuade others? This video starts with a strong emphasis on the "IF" in "if you believe in voting"...

  • Comment removed

  • @glasnikov Why would he say voting is ineffective and borderline immoral before, and then -now- act like it appropriate to try to convince your loved ones to vote???? (And the way to convince them it to give them an ultimatum on your relationship?)

  • @twilightawakening Because lives are at risk. You can be an anarchist and hate voting, but here are lives at risk, literally thousands of them. So will you support the guy who's willing to save them or are you too lazy or unwilling to help save them.

There is no other option, I'm afraid. And not willing to save thousands of lives or one life tells you almost everything about the person, IF PRESENTED TO THEM THIS WAY.

  • @Epifrin In that case is would be moral to vote for every candidate who's opposed to war. But stef always said the "government" as a whole is a coalition of force and that by definition is evil and it's a matter of principle to not participate. But now all of a sudden it's OK if there is a guy who agrees with you? And I'm "lazy" and "unfriendable" if I don't want to take part? Does this mean the government is evil unless the candidate is libertatian? Need an explanation video of his argument.

  • @twilightawakening Actually my bad for misparaphrasing Stef, as he said this only concerns those believing in political action.

You're right; I think Stef is changing his mind here as he sees the immediate more tangible gain of electing RP: Less wars, less subsidies, freer market & smaller government. I've always thought anarchists unreasonable if they did not support RP - esp in the primaries where his libertarianism can't harm the repubs and be blamed for reelecting Obama.

  • @twilightawakening Think of it this way. You are my friend and you have lots of money while I happen to be in debt to these murdering thugs. The sum they owe me would be a minor inconvenience to you if you helped me. And so I plead to you to help me and save me from them. I think an ultimatum on our friendship would be inevitable and what becomes of it is reliant upon your decision. I can't be friends with someone who would not save me for what is very little money to them.

  • @Epifrin Second best...Stop talking SHIT !!

  • @sandsifter149 Sockpuppet alert.

  • @Epifrin DUMBASS on deck !

  • @Epifrin I see your point. Perhaps it is necessary to commit a "small" evil (engaging in voting the voting process), for the greater good. But once you make this allowance, where do the allowances end? I do not think making a confrontation with an argument based on emotion is appropriate. I hope he comes out with a logic based video soon.

  • @Epifrin Aside from that, I (and even Stef) can't help but be skeptical that Paul will actually help to change anything. The streets of New York rioted in happiness when Obama got elected, and the country is still in a steady downward slope. How much is emotional hype and how much is truth?

  • @twilightawakening I think Stef is making the logical argument that the importance of the thousands of lives at risk comes before the inappropriateness of an emotion-based argument. And to do so, he is willing to sacrifice a relationship with someone who is not willing to help save those lives.

I agree RP can't do much if elected, which is why he's urging people to vote our their representatives if they oppose their plans. I do think stop all the wars at once though!

  • @Epifrin I don't think it does. Emotional rhetoric is what politians use to convince the masses of their evil actions, philosophy is about wading through the ethos bullshit and seeking truth through logic. In this case even Ron Paul is being more logically persuasive than Stef.

  • @twilightawakening

It's not all about emotions here, though I think Stef's being reasonable in his "restricted" support of RP.

    Basically:

    - Those who actively support wars (vote), even though it was explained to them it's wrong in all logic, are terrible people.

    - Being family doesn't make them any less terrible.

    - What stance to take on relationships with terrible people? Contrary to Stef, I say don't give up on them, keep telling them. :)

Stef has new vid on this btw.

  • @Epifrin His new video didn't explain anything to me at all. You explained more to me. -_- (with a couple fallacies). Well, people who vote don't nec. support the war, but people who openly support war are either evil, or arguably misled. But I digress. I still feel this "argument" (angry accusations/ultimatums) is inappropriate for someone who is morally and philosophically opposed to the concept of "force" and the government, which I feel wasn't very clearly distinguished from in the video.

  • @twilightawakening I agree with you.

In the other vid Stef is getting angry. I beileve he should do what he does best, go in easy logical steps instead of getting angry like a less educated person would if confronted with the undeniable truth.

I think Stef may be justifying on a less conscious level the drastic decisions he may have made in regards to family earlier in his life, as he got deeper into philosophy. He talks about this in his podcasts. I could be totally wrong.

  • @Epifrin Do you have any links to those podcasts?

  • @twilightawakening I remember him saying he broke with his family. Sorry though, couldn't find the links as I believe Stef doesn't make his childhood the topic of the podcast making it difficult to find (he only goes over it very quickly to illustrate a point).

He acknowledges having a difficult childhood however, something you're not unfamiliar with I'm sure:

    youtube dot com slash comment?lc=jWyzanQV3XIkenUvynYw9TUcly5Lvx3ODX4PFBTKy6Q

  • @twilightawakening Not sure that link works. It's from the video about the "delusional Harry Potter", you'd have to look for my comment and his response to it.

    watch?v=BlIrmHOfeA8

  • @Epifrin Yeah, I'm familiar with it. Your theory seems to make a lot of sense.

  • @twilightawakening Thanks for the exchange. :)

  • @Epifrin Thanks to you too. :] I'd friend you if I knew how...

  • @Epifrin Even if I realized that by paying them for you I know that you will keep putting yourself and your children in debt to them? "Just this one last payment" is the talk of an addict.

  • @BrainInSkull Where do you see me say "just this one last payment"?

Where do you see me say that the situation involves continuous indebting as in addictive gambling?

It could be about any kind of situation. Do not put words into my mouth.

  • Wow. I'm actually shocked to see this video from Stefan.

  • @magentawave Stefan has explained why he doesn't believe in voting clearly enough in other videos, so why not give tips to those who still choose to disagree and participate in the political process?

  • @glasnikov - Oh don't get me wrong. I think what he did was awesome. I'm sure Stefan has heard countless of his listeners explain over the last few years how Ron Paul turned them on to this stuff. There is no doubt that this humble unassuming doctor is converting millions around the world to something that will ultimately lead to a world of voluntaryism.

  • @glasnikov According to the "against me" argument that would be givingi tips to the very people you claim are "against you"

  • I so so wish i could vote for Ron Paul, because he really is the last chance for this world to move on in peace and arrive at a better place than we are right now. Unfortunately i live in the UK, but we have Nigel Farage from UKIP and he is our Ron Paul (sort of). Great speech and i hope it awakens a few more. Peace :)

  • If I had a product to sell, I would want Stefan Molyneux to be my salesman! That was an incredible little bit of persuasive speech.

  • Beautiful speech!

  • Comment removed

  • I am for Ron Paul, but I don't think guilt tripping friends and relatives is the way to go.

  • @PrepperBee This isn't about guilt trips, this is about supporting violence. Do you really want to have "friends" who support murdering people in other countries?

  • Yes RP wants to end the wars, so do I. He's just a regular man though. He's surrounded by the behemoth called the military complex/industry, and x amounts of very powerful people who do not want this at all. Do you seriously believe this is going to work? Do you not see how they change the rules whenever they see fit? I don't want you guys to become heart broken. Work on expanding freedom in your own life. Make sure none of your kids go to war. Those are real things you can do.

  • @Zerafinel I don't think steph (the guy in the video) could agree with you more.

  • Ron Paul shouts "end the FED" now only because the FED issue suddenly became popular because of the Internet. If it weren't popular, I'm sure he would love to keep it quiet and have that printing press for "times of need", just as every president before him :)

  • @woodsmailbox1 Ron Paul is the father of the End the Fed movement. He wrote a book on it, it's popular on the Internet Because of him. He's been grilling them for years. He and Murray Rothbard were friends 30 years ago when hardly any americans knew what the Fed actually did.

  • @SonjaSmith End The Fed (the book), amazon says 1st ed. is 2009, or are you talking about other books? RP and MR are diff. ppl which followed different paths to action even if they were "friends" 30 years ago.

  • So stef, isn't Ron Paul just trying to buy more time for the dying state with its platform of cutting it down to size? Whenever the state looks really bad to the people, some politician comes and makes it look better by giving up more liberties while at the same time finding ever more intelligent and secure ways to rip them off (eg. the VAT system, the FED).

  • @woodsmailbox1 It's WW3 or total lose at this point. Those are the stakes, nothing less. All the other shit is useless blather and really selfishness. Choose, if only in your mind, because it's not really about Ron Paul. It's which side of this you are on. Some idiot taxes or other BS, whether RP is a racist, wants hold of your uterus, or if your own selfish nature chooses war over peace, because a President can do almost ONLY THAT. ONE thing He CAN do is NOT Bomb IRAN.

  • @SonjaSmith your reasoning shows just how good a tool democracy is at manipulating people into sanctioning the serial killers that are our rulers, make us feel their murder is on us, that is our choice, because we have this great blame-distribution voting system they give us. Sorry but I don't think I'll ever vote again and no empty rethoric about how it's my choice will be able to make me feel guilty about this.

  • @woodsmailbox1 My reasoning is about stopping wars of aggression, nothing more. Not Democracy, or anything close. I live free. But will always fight against these insane wars. It's not about politics usually. I can hear you are young, and slamming around like a bull in a china shop. But good on you to be in Anarchy at such a young age, IF you would only read about it and understand what you are talking about.

  • @SonjaSmith right, when nothing else works, tell people they are young and they should just read more, that always works - I'm heading to the library right now and I also got my growing pills :)

  • @woodsmailbox1 It's not about Ron Paul, as I said. At this point in thought process, you can FAKE it, which is what most people are doing, or break with it (status quo) completely. The only thing, is that grey area that matters, educating, which is likely the real reason RP is running. Last chance to educate on a NATIONAL LEVEL, before he retires. Leaving room for Rand Paul in the future. Too bad for the anti-war people.

  • @woodsmailbox1 Ron Paul is no fucking idiot. He is setting a stage for the Future. It's Last Chance , next gas 100 million miles -for a Legacy. Some day, Ron Paul will be the ONLY one in the history books that began the Freedom Movement in America, that led to the demise of government and the end of the Federal Reserve. Long past his end, he will be hailed Hero. One of the last few, good, remaining Wise MEN. Such a shame it's not that way now.

  • @SonjaSmith amen!

  • challenge accepted. (my state's caucus is coming up soon.)

  • I'm almost reluctant to vote for ron paul because I know that if he gets his way he's going to fuck up the economy in the short run, but save it in the long run. As usual, statists will blame ron paul and capitalism for such problems, when in actuality the problem came from govt creating a system and people that rely on it.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 It's about Wars not The System. The system is permanently broken, and who cares if RP takes the blame for anything if more wars are avoided.

  • I like RPs views on war, the fed, and drugs. But when he says that sick people should die without care or go beg from a church, I find that disturbing.

  • @iversonmatthew join a church/found your own when you dont want to miss out on the being panhandled by these unfortunate souls then? I dont get what you are saying? Why cant you do charity without being in a church?

  • @virtusapiensrex I just don't find it to be right. I a lot of other things RP has to say but I do not agree with his views on health care.

  • @iversonmatthew As if, People take care of people and nobody was trundaway befor helth care. Liberty is about making choices and taking responsibility. I hope it clears thaings up.

  • @Cohunnamatta Nobody chooses to get ill and hit an insurance cap or chooses to be born with a disability. And yes lots of people are turned away and die with out healthcare every year. I hope that clears things up.
