I have seen this clip on vh1 classic.Great groove from the jordan, weeks and company.this is my first exposure to doyle bramhall jr's work.both he and derek definiatley stand shoulder to shoulder with a master.I have been a fan of both mr jordan and mr weeks for YEARS!kudos to all!
seen both eric 6 times and dereck 2 times who is the master????? and howmany would know about dereck without eric. dereckis fabulous and eric knows it but isn't afraid to present new talent (last 2 tours dereck and robert randolph) eric is a legend and could squash new talent but prefers to help expose it. comments otherwise get a life (aned an ear)
I agree with what you are saying. I didn't know anything about Derek or Doyle until they went on tour with him. Clapton has a big heart and has toned down his ego. He knows there are a lot of great guitar players out there and not just him.
Has anyone seen the video of John Mayer doing "Waiting on the World to Change" at the Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007? I can't find it. Does anyone have it or know where to find it?
Tell me who's been fooling who ????????

Too bad his ego apparently prevented him from inviting the great Allan Holdsworth to this event.

A lot more agressive than clapton typically plays on this song, really a great version. Hes truly getting better w/age

I have the DVD and Derek is alot clearer, but on "Little Queen of Spades" Eric's guitar part is badly mixed. everything else seems fine.

It seems as if part of this video is missing...it cuts out before the song ends.
