@LetsFlyOnceMore how to feel the advencement in the different speeds of canter, how big the strides can be in the different speeds of canter, etc... Showjumping is so much more than just sitting there and waiting for the horse to jump. If I watch your vids on your channel, you're not even able to jump 60cm without holding onto the sadle... please stop making a fool of yourself

I'm Belgian, we have some of the best showjumping horses in the world. i've worked at the breemeersen for 6 months and now train with a very good rider. She teaches me how to estimate the distance to a jump,

@LetsFlyOnceMore 85% of the errors occuring in jumping are the riders fault, and this vid is an example. It could have been helped. But as I said, the girl is learning and she'll learn from her mistake. Sorry, but based on your comments I can only conclude you think you know allot about jumping, but - and I don't want to insult you- you don't.

@LetsFlyOnceMore mate, mate, mate, ... are you a pirate? There is a way to know if the distances are going to work: measure them. The girl got it wrong, and it had every thing to do with the strides. She took off on the wrong point (a bit to late), wich resulted in a landing to close to the second jump (no place to prepare for the next jump), wich ended in a refusal. But she was learning and then it's more than normal you make mistakes.

@LetsFlyOnceMore Soppost? You mean 'supposed'? I'm dutch and my english is better than yours? In ouer language we have different names for a bounce, a jump with one stride, two strides or three strides. If the course whas set for a smaller horse, they should have adjusted the jumps before the girl started riding, therefore the distance between the jumps is to short for a correct jump (as I said in the first com)

@LetsFlyOnceMore I think Tina7494 knows what a bounce is, she's dutch. I think she meant ( and I share her opinion) that the distance between the jumps is to short to be a bounce. It could have been that the distance was ok, but the horse jumps the first one to high, wich results in a far landing and not enough space to get a correct take off.

i think the horsey might have found it easier if the gap was a bit larger, it doesn't seem big enough to me, i know its supposed to be like bouncebounce but it seems he/she deosn't even get a chance to land & sort themself out :3
