Good track! But is a distortion pedal in fact necessary? I thought that the TR-909 had these distortioned bassdrum inside itself? Greetz Jason

no mate,the 909 itself,sounds poor:-D

to get a real Hardcore kickdrum,you have to send the 909 straight through a compressor,and a mixer and the Gain almost on maximum! you also have to play with the eq on your mixer to get that kind of kickdrum:-)

the 909 itself has no distortion at all mate:-)

ich versteh einfach nicht warum heutzutage in hardcore so ein scheiss basskick verwendet wird... womit wird das eigentlich gemacht? eh mit nem pc oder?

Für das dass für dich nur ANALOG in frage kommt, hast du aber ziemlich viele Digital-Synths ;-)

Nein,da liegst du falsch meister:-))

die 909 wird zu 80-90 % im Hardcore bereich genutzt!!

beispiel,Evil Activities,Paul Elstak etc!!!

Die 909 wird verzerrt,durch Diverse effekt geräten,wie distortion,High Gain usw!!!!

Klar wird auch viel ne musik software zum einsatz gebracht.

aber letzt endlich,bleibt die TR-909 Kult Status im Hardcore bereich,oder auch in anderen musik richtungen!!

weil sie drückt einfach,ist pervers,und kein sample scheiss weisst du!!!!

but member,the 909 or the ds pedal goes throu my access virus as well,wich means i distort the distortion again:-DD

I am trying to be able to play the 909 with the virus keyboard, but I dont understand how to do that. I have the manual, but I cant even get the MIDI to work with it.
