I never said Las Vegas is Heaven. Far from it. Too many people (not you) are responding and misquoting me saying I should look at my own town. Believe me, I have. There is a lot of crap here that is for sure. Most tourists never get to see it as they spend all their time on The Strip when just blocks away you gotta be pretty tough to survive.
We manage to live and make a pretty good life out of what we have. I understand that most initial responses to our town's way of life is less than flattering, but we don't mind. We're stronger than that, and we're above the criticism we receive on a daily basis. It's not the location, it's the people you surround yourself with. And if you choose to look past the graffiti and the teenage debauchery, we're a pretty friendly and welcoming town, we're just rough around the edges. :)
I'm from Bullhead city, born and raised. And, although it is definitely not the "ideal" place to be raised, I managed to turn out okay. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I've never done a drug, and I'm tattoo and piercing-less. Sure, we have adult book stores, and tattoo parlors, and bars on every corner. But we're a small town. We're a retirement and biker town, and that's what those two categories seem to enjoy. We don't have much, but we survive on very little, and we get by just fine. (con.)

It is certainly not the worst that is for sure. I recently had to stay for several days in Barstow Ca and that place...well at least BHC has water and Laughlin and Hastings. :) Baker Ca would be a sad place to live too. Am heading to the Tri-Sate area in the next couple of weeks. I should stop by and say hello to all my new friends there in BHC. Or maybe not. I would like a new tattoo though...Hmmm

Yes we have gone over the fact that one porn shop is in Ft. Mohave. Thanks for catching up. Forgive me if there was not a big sign or checkpoint differentiating the border between BHC and Ft. Mohave. Whatever. As far as gangs in BHC, when I made that video, if you did a YouTube search for BHC a good majority of the videos were indeed about street fights and gang wars. BHC population is 40K. When I see all these people posting comments that are very defensive and angry it makes me kinda happy and kinda emberrassed. I lived in Bullhead and being honest I have met some of the best people I have ever known there. On the other hand, most of the rest that I met were ignorant, arrogant, prejudice, assholes who made life in BHC hard to enjoy. Don't be confused, Bullhead isn't the best place in the world by far, but some of my favorite memories are from there.
