Some of you under 25-year old guys may not fully understand it, but to guys my age who grew up watching the cartoon it was freaking jaw-dropping and really emotionally spellbinding to see the Transformers on the big-screen in live action form. It's really hard to explain because the last 15 years of cartoons have not been what they used to be back in the 80's.
